Playing for 30 years now, cross pick lover for about 5. Hands down best lesson I have ever been a part of. I feel like I just had a breakthrough moment that come less and less often as we grow older. Thank you so much. You just made yourself a dedicated student out of me. As Mr Scaggs said, country rocks but bluegrass rules!

Hey Devon, I noticed on the chord charts you put up didn't exactly match up where you was placing your chord fingerings. Can you tell me which one was correct? Just want to make sure I memorize the right thing. I love all your videos! I am a huge fan and think you are a God send for people like me who rely on you to learn everything about acoustic guitar and bluegrass! No one comes close to your teaching!

This is an excellent clip. I love the alternate patter over 3 strings. Does anyone know of longer pattern exercises which are over a greater number of strings?

Another terrific lesson. Mr. Country Guitar Online, what is your name? I feel like a doofus telling friends, "You know, that skinny dude with the plaid shirt and white hat." My eyesight's pretty limited so if it's obvious, I missed it. Thank you so much for all this great instruction.

This pattern seems to be a shuffle rather than 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 &. No? So he is actually playing 1 rest tah 2 rest tah 3 rest tah 4 rest tah. Or am I crazy? 😂
