GEORGE should of been in the CMH of Fame loooooong ago !!! Look at Garth Brooks behind Georges' wife Nancy, he's crying, AWESOME that GEORGE JONES can make a grown man cry too !!!!!
@mykidsdad3611 жыл бұрын
There were so many things that made George Jones the greatest country legend . The first and foremost was his voice, then you had his charm, his ability to make the song identify with the listener, the fact that you knew what he was singing, for the most part, he had lived, and lastly, with George, what you see, was what you got. And even though he was one of Country music's biggest star, he didn't think he was any better than the man on the street, or the poor man, he identified with them all.

Inducted to the Country Music Hall Of Fame in 1992, George Jones is the definition of America's country music! From buzz cuts to mullets of the 90's, Country Music has changed to something more like Southern Rock... I wonder what "The Possum" thinks of the country music of today?

Anyone ever notice how they always make the stars shorten thier songs for time on these award shows? I understand they are on a time schedule, but I don't think they should ever make someone like George Jones shorten one of thier songs!
