One other aspect of The County Fair that our Inimitable Mr. Black may have overlooked, is the Importance of allowing Those that are from towns and cities to see , if only at a cursory level, what kind of effort Farm and Ranch Folk put into Providing for the rest of the World . County Fairs are one of the best Ambassadors for Promoting wholesome living that I can think of. God Bless all the FFA chapters , County Fair Boards and Ag Teachers we are Blessed to have working with our Young People.

And Baxter was right. Without 4H and my sister in law Deborah running it we would starve. This is why we need fairs this is why we need 4H every money spent at those auctions funds 4H and allows our ag economy to grow. Thank You FFA Thank You 4H and thank you to the immortal Baxter Black. #RIPBaxterBlack 1945-2022 we will miss you Baxter and thanks for reminding us about 4H. I will spread this message.

Our son and his family wouldn’t be where they are without FFA and the Ag. Our son participated in FFA his entire high school years. It taught him responsibility and the ethics of working hard for himself and his ag. team. He has in turn taught his children those same ethnics and principles of hard work and commitment. Please support our County Fairs and the Ag. programs in our public schools. The benefits far outweigh the costs that could be counted! Our children will thank you 😊!
