"I was just a pup when we first met, I loved you from the start. You picked me up and took me home, And placed me in your heart. Good times we had together, We shared all life could throw. But years passed all too quickly, My time has come to go. I know how much you miss me, I know your heart is sore I see the tears that fall When I'm not waiting at the door. You always did your best for me, Your love was plain to see. For even though it broke your heart, You set my spirit free. So please be brave without me, One day we'll meet once more. For when you're called to heaven, I'll be waiting at the door."

Baxter said a mouthful here for me at least. I have been looking for the words to explain to me why I took for granted my wonderful and faithful friend until she was gone. Many a day was lost to the minutia as Baxter suggest. Too busy to even notice my loyal and faithful friend, but she was always there.

My constant companion for over 11 years now is my buddy and pal "Sparky". He's a Jack Russell Terrier, I know he is getting old, I know I need to prepare-dang, sure isn't easy.

Baxter was a long-time friend of mine. I heard many great stories from my old pard. Big animal veterinarian was his primany game, but storytelling was his soul. RIP Ole Pard. You are dearly missed!

Well I had to give up on my old dog he wouldn't chew out to bottom of the frying pants anymore so I had to go get myself a pitbull I was trying Shepherd gave it up but maybe the Pitbull will be able to take it if I turn around and soak the frying pans for a couple weeks I hope so anyway I'll make sure your army is run out the Salvation Army has run out

I met Baxter in Idaho Falls in 1994. Without a doubt the most humble and down to earth man I ever met. One of a kind. Missed? Yes, that's fair to say. Paul Harvey and Baxter Black both.
