Great reaction. But please don't compare BP to Spice Girls, they are not alike. This MV started off with a Biggie Smalls line (first rapper in red), then a Rihana line (first line of second rapper), then a 50 cent line (ending line of second rapper). Then the dual rappers did a tribute to 90's and older rappers like Cool-J and Run DMC. These girls are skilled rappers and extremely disciplined dancers in addition to being great singers, that are being compared to Rihanna and Beyonce and Nicki Minaj, not unidimensional singers. As Blackpink goes, this one has a gentler kinder slower chorus as compared to their debut (Boombayah) and other comeback songs (Kill This Love, DDu Du DDu Du, How You Like That), all of which have over 1 billion views each (DDDD has 1.8 billion), and which have far more aggressive and memorable in your face choruses. Also gentler and kinder than Lisa's "Money" MV, all English all rap (the Celine rapper in this song), that has over 650 million views in 10 months. Lisa's other song "LaLisa" broke the 24 hour view record by a solo artist formerly held by Taylor Swift (73 million vs. Taylor's 64 million). Lisa is the most popular Kpop star on earth (with more IG followers than any male or female Kpop idol, 80 plus million), but surrounded by 3 other equally talented and equally beautiful superstars (ranked 2, 3, and 4 in IG followers for Kpop Idols).

You don’t see western music videos that are not even that incredible! Yes they’ve won many awards more than the Spice Girls they had a documentary on Netflix their music videos rack up KZbin views over 1 billion! Honestly Spice Girls can’t hold a candle to BLACKPINK!! Maybe you can do a couple more music videos by BLACKPINK their discography you will see ranges from rap, pop, EDM , ballads even some Latin vibes! Lisa and Jennie and Rose have solo albums! And JiSoo is an actress . So they all have outside work besides being in a group together.
