I remember several years ago a couple was found dead in a hotel room. A few months another couple was found dead in the same hotel and in the same room. All four deaths were a mystery. When they got to investigating the incidents it was discovered that there was a half floor under the room for utilities to be run. The hotel had a pool that was heated by a gas burner that was vented through a pipe that ran under the room. The pipe had a break in it where the room was. It was leaking CO into the room and would dissipate when the heaters were not burning.

Means there is already a trend, precedents of Americans being killed or rather killed in that hotel. Yet Americans still stay in that hotel. An intensive investigation by the FBI or concerned US Embassy must be done then in the said hotel..

This isn't related to carbon monoxide poisoning. The paramedics came down with respiratory symptoms in a very short time frame. The pathogen was obviously transferred through contact. The pathogen must be extracted and isolated to determine the cause. These two should also be under quarantine until further study can resolve the issue.

No yea that’s what I’ve said above in my other comment. This is either ironising radiation or a deadly pathogen. If it’s a pathogen it’s already spreading because who’ve these paramedics came into contact will also soon become sick!. If it’s radiation that’s easier to contain in a sense still a disaster as it means there will be pockets of high radiation in unknown areas!. Both cases would indicate some kind of assassination, meaning what the bloody hell were these two involved in, criminally or intelligence agency wise!. To kill people with a deadly dose of radiation or a deadly pathogen is state sponsored levels of assassination not some angry bloke down the road. One things clear this could be a catastrophe international incident if that pathogen is spreading were fxcked!.

You raised an excellent point. This is contingent upon how much of the pathogen they were able to harness in the body. Judging by the time frame and limited contact, they should make a recovery. @OrNaurItsKat
@OrNaurItsKat Жыл бұрын
@@amandamorgan2802My husband works in natural gas and was investigating a home because their carbon monoxide alarm was going off, it turned out that it was actually coming from their neighbor's generator that was close to some kind of vent on the house. The neighbor's generator was giving off huge amounts of carbon monoxide and the vent was just pulling all of it in their home. Thankfully he was able to find the source and no one was hurt!
@FamilyManMoving
@FamilyManMoving Жыл бұрын
@@amandamorgan2802 Yes. Anything that combusts creates carbon monoxide - even a candle. The issue is how much. The number one cause of CO poisoning in residential spaces is gas heating - usually the water heater not venting correctly. Generators in garages and porches are also a big problem. Generators within 20 foot of a window can fill a room with CO pretty fast. Whole house forced air heaters have sensors that detect blocked or non-existent venting and shut down. Water heaters do not. They just use a voltage signal for some external relay to turn on a fan to suck the fumes out. If the fan fails...the CO backs up. If you have a gas furnace and/or water heater, you should get a few CO detectors and place them near the units, and also in the living areas. If you hear a CO detector go off, do not go looking for the problem or wake anyone to talk it over. Open windows and doors _immediately_. Do not delay. Wait until everything is nice and vented before looking for a problem. You can pass out from CO without even knowing it is happening. Just get fresh air first, then worry about everyone and everything else. You are no help if you pass out.
@larrywilliams3858

@@larrywilliams3858 Correct. CO is not heavier; I stand corrected. It typically pools in rooms and basements due to those areas being closed up. Like bedrooms with a water heater in a closet. I've stayed in those, but they used electric heaters (in the US). Thanks.

It is incomprehensible that a hotel/resort don't use an air quality detector that cost between $50 to $1,000 to test their facilities, but more incomprehensible is to install on smoke/co alarm that cost about $35 to $100 in each room and hallway. What kind of standards those places have? Last year 3 people died at Sandals Resort in Bahamas in the same circumstance. I travel with my own detector, just in case. If you are reading this now, please get yours too. I wish this never happens again. Sorry for the ones that die and prompt recuperation to the first responders.

Wow sounds like some type of gas or substance that is very serious!! I thought it was CO2 so Thank you for the updates! I hope all the news is going to stay on top of this case!!! I feel like it’s negligence on the Hilton Hotel group that charge so much for a “luxury resort”, that wasn’t regulating the property & obviously not doing proper maintenance or safety inspection checks & for any staff to be removing smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors just because they were making noise was not just irresponsible, but legally makes them liable for their deaths and it also indicates that those detectors were going off for a reason and they should’ve had experts come in there to determine what gases were leaking that were causing the alarms to go off. They could’ve prevented these deaths, and these relatively young people who still had full lives-Ahead of them would still be here, and their families & loved ones, wouldn’t be devastated and grieving!!

Many pesticides you need to wear a chemical suit so if that sprayed and then you go into the room that's a no-no. It might take 24 hours. It might take multiple days to off gas to the point where it's safe for humans. McDonald's potatoes are sprayed with such strong pesticides to kill a very specific type of bug. They become worse after returning from the hospital back to their room, Monoxide alarms kept going off, two paramedics could barely make it out of the room alive. Yet authorities tested the air and said the air quality was fine. So, obviously those who did the testing are lying, or they were able to air the place out good enough before the testing was done. How is it possible that the hospital can't figure out what's wrong with the two paramedics? And this has happened three other times at this same resort? I think it's obvious there is fowl play in some way or another. Whether it's lazy neglect and then a cover up going on, or not wanting to admit that robberies are happening at their resort, or someone at the resort doing it on purpose like what was happening in DR. Violence was always lingering beneath the facde they create with the obvious police presence. On two occasions while lounging near the hotel pool, I was asked if I wanted to buy cocaine. It was a nice hotel. I would never go back. I could not relax. And to be honest, Hawaii is a thousand times nicer. I don't know why people love to vacation in Mexico as much as they do. From a safety point of view, it's not worth the risk. Look up the number of kidnappings and murders in Mexico each year, and you might reconsider visiting ever again.

There was a case where people in a hotel room died because somebody was cooking meth in another room and using the stove exhaust fan to remove fumes from a solvent called hexane, which has no odor but can make people go unconscious or die if they breathe enough in. The stove fans in the two rooms were connected to the same ventilation pipe and some came out in the other room where the people were staying. I guess it's unlikely that people were cooking meth in a high end resort but not impossible. The carbon monoxide and methane detectors wouldn't detect hexane.

The tap water contamination was easy resolved in my rig by installing an appropriately rated filter upon arrival. I can drink directly from my tap and have not gotten sick from that either.

I have a very strong idea of what might have happened. This seems like something that happened a lot in Miami. It is a tactic burglars would use to knockout residents of a home so that they could burglarize it. This technique seems to be far from accurate or reliable…unfortunately, deaths do seem to be a possibility. I REFUSE to disclose this technique here in order to prevent burglars from learning about it or preventing curious people from trying it. ( Even though news stations in Miami would disclose the technique back in the day. ) It is nowhere near safe and way too easy to do. If I knew what law enforcement to contact, I would contact them. One more thing… one portable carbon monoxide detector is insufficient…USE TWO. Make sure they use common batteries.

Carbon monoxide could be generated through combustion, of course. Most places in Mexico do not have natural gas, but many use propane/butane. Space heaters (though not during the summer, of course), clothes dryers, propane powered refrigerators (not very common) or water heaters. There are also hot water heaters (yes, they heat previously heated water) in some hotels that guarantee water temperatures in some (hard to reach) places.

There's tons of violence in the USA also, just stay away from bad areas and bad people. The media hypes this stuff. For the most part tourist are left alone unless you're involved in something you shouldn't be in the first place.
