After shooting the CP (D&H) at Howes Cave, NY to the south ( • Howes Cave, NY. July 1... ), I headed up to milepost 196 on Conrail's Chicago line east of Palatine Bridge and caught two westbound trains.

Gosh I wish you can see lots of railroad companies on the freight cars today like you did back in the 1990's, I feel like quality of life was so much better back then than now.

Nice footage, forgot how many box cars were still in use in the 90's. What was the little blue car parked there, I had a little blue 1991 Dodge Colt that was my first brand new car, that was in many of my Schoolcraft, MI videos, till I got my Dodge Dakota.

Hey Bob. That little blue car was my 1992 GEO Metro. That was my first brand new car. My next vehicle was also a Dodge Dakota! Black 1996 Sport.

@@1990sRailfan Wow, that's crazy! My Dakota was a 1994, 2- tone, blue and silver SLT. With the 5.2 liter V-8, 2WD and would really get with the program when needed, if you could get the rear tires to hook up! LOL!
