Nice 👍..both cars turned out great..I think so. Like the color of the vett and the 57 😮..like the stock look.. something I'd use as a daily driver...with horse power.. Thanks for sharing Rob... happy modeling cheers.😎👍🎄

Good job. They both look amazing. I am glad you found that bumper. The paint job looked too good for a wonky bumper. I really enjoy your channel. I am always looking forward to seeing your next one.

The 57 Chevrolet turned out great, I love the color! Getting the rear bumper to fit as well as it does is half the battle, good job! The Corvette turned out really well also,, it appears to be purpose built! I Miss Strest Rodder magazine, and the Tim Boyd column. Keep up the good work have a Merry Christmas!

Nice job. My brother's 55 was 2-tone coral and a similar Gray metallic. When he bought it in 68 it was light metallic blue. Still is. The Corvette as a road racer (NOT a "roundy-round") is pretty cool. I grew up involved in that sort of racing, so I know a thing or 3 about them. You built it pretty cool unless you get what the Military Modelers call "a rivet counter" looking at it. Like me. But I'm not gonna bust your hubris over how you built it. Be happy in how it is. I COULD TELL YOU what is not 100% historically "accurate" for such a race car. But I'm NOT gonna tell you any of that unless you ask me. If you're happy with it as is, it's good.

It's not an historical accurate build like you say just a fun build. Was supposed to be a corvette street machine type build till the paint didn't turn out so I improvised lol. Either type of race car they still go around in a circle lol.

@@papasmodelcarroom8450 I suppose I'd you're a drag race guy, then any race course that brings you back where you started is a "roundy round". 🙄 From my POV, there's a HUGE difference. To me roundy-rounders never turn right. Never change elevation other than up the banked turn or down. Road racers turn left AND right. Up hills and down. Flat turns and banked. Off road racers like me actually deal with 3 dimensional courses. Bumps, uphills, downhills, dropouts, high centers, rocks, whoop-de-dos, moguls, off-cambers, surface roughness, soft sand, hard dirt, blinding dust, constantly changing. Drag racers talk about learning a track that's a straight line only 1/4 long. Circle track drivers talk about learning 2 corners they like to call 4 turns. Road race drivers talk about learning 9 or 10 turns. Desert offroad racers deal with thousands of turns in a lap. Sometimes there is no lap. Laps can be 40 miles. Laps can be a few hundred miles. Point to point races you never see the same spot again. A little more challenging.

So you know your 57 is a 55
@papasmodelcarroom845026 күн бұрын
Nope it's a Revell 1957 (Black Widow race car on the box) 150 (I believe) Sedan. You can tell it's a 57 by the two hood ornaments and the 150 Sedan had different side moldings. Thank you 😊 much for watching.
