Unfortunately some of his family members are very closed minded and would rather marry within the family to keep the family truly Lebanese. Fun video. I stumbled across this as a suggested video and found it very interesting as I am a Chinese Canadian and my wife is 3/8 Lebanese and 5/8 Irish. We have been together now for 6 years and I knew I loved her 2 weeks after going out with her and that she was the one. Fast forward 6 years later, we now own a home together and have a 7 month old baby (we skipped the dog part). While this phase has been certainly been challenging, I couldn't have found a better partner. She thrills and excites me everyday, and I think the key to our longevity has been that we don't take our love for each other for granted. Like you, even though our cultural backgrounds were technically different, we had a lot of very similar values even though our personalities are quite different. Congratulations on your anniversary and I wish you guys the best!

I'm curious about the choice of words here, in particular the use of the word "Asian"? Asia is a vast convenient, and the word "Asian" is often used in a vague manner. Yes, people normally associate China with Asia. But Lebanon is also in Asia. China is in East Asia, whilst Lebanon is in West Asia. So in fact, I could say that this couple here is an Asian man with an Asian woman. One can consider using the word "Oriental" to represent Far eastern Asian countries ie. In this case, an Oriental man with an Arabic woman. Honestly though, this is a relationship between a man and a woman. Whether they're from Asia, Africa, Europe, etc really shouldn't matter. I was so mad when people were commenting on the cantomando video that she was a clout chaser. Sometimes asian people can be unfair to people of other races, wasn't Sandy part of cantomando house and had a thing with Mike? Mike had to admit he kissed the most people there to his new gf when they played that drinking game. Everyone in the comments said it must be Sandy not Piia. The reason you have somewhat similar customs and traditions is because Lebanon - geographically and techincally - is part of Asia or Western Asia aka popularly known as the Middle east - which was coined by westerners actually. Just look at the Asian Games. All the middle east countries compete along with some of the former Soviet republics located in that geographical area of Asia. So the tag AMWF is kind of spotty imo. I was dating a Caucasian woman I was harassed by a non Caucasian individual mostly Blacks and Latino men and two Asian women. The two Asian women for some odd reason they were with a non Asian men, they both said “ You need to be with an Asian woman!” My girlfriend at the time responded to them before I was able to say anything,she said “ So it’s okay for you to be a man with different race but not an Asian man?” I got into an actual fight with two Black guys on two different occasions because they said to my girlfriend at the time “ A worm cannot satisfy you baby, an anaconda can satisfy your needs!” My girlfriend responds back by saying “I was dating a few Black men I hate to disappoint you,I wasn’t impressed by the way they treated me and it wasn’t the size it was how you use it!” The guy tried to grab her breast so I grabbed his arms and pinned him down to the ground and ended the altercation. I lost my girlfriend to Covid. She was an amazing woman.

Um technically the Middle east is part of Asia, the people are Asian. West Asian to be more accurate, just like Indians would say they are Southeast Asian and East Asian are Chinese, Japanese, Koreans and others in that area. I only learn this recently, not a lot of people realizes this fact and western media has been trying to separate the Middle east from the rest of Asia.
