Bruno's voice reminds me of Michael w his solo album "Forever Michael" - his voice was to me the best he ever sounded as a singer.... so damn good !!!! keep em' coming you two we need to remind people of that amazing music !!!!!!

R&b producer here 20+ years... Singers today hide behind shortcomings of talent by various methods....many in studio production, some in cadence. Whats so great about this song is there is real talent here. Bruno reminds me of class A talent from the 70's....Blue Notes, Stylistics, Earth Wind & Fire, etc.

The first time I heard this song was about 4 days after it came out and I have been HOOKED!!! I listened to this song on repeat like 5 times and then I started watching reaction videos, like literally almost every single reaction. This song, when I first heard it I just started to smile and sway right along with them, it just felt so good to listen to it. I have listened to this song so many times I've lost count, I hope there is a follow up album to this.

I turned 14 in 1990. I wouldn't change spending my teens in the 90s for anything. Music was amazing. R'n'B made a HUGE comeback, baby making music was all over the radio as well as all the classics from the 80s and 70s. We used to make mixtapes (actual TAPES) of some of the hottest songs ever written. Then I just slowly quit listening to new music altogether. It no longer made me FEEL things anymore. I later discovered Bruno who brought back so much of that 90s feeling in his solo songs, and I absolutely loved his talent as an all around entertainer - singer, dancer, writer, choreographer, comedian... the dude is absolutely exceptional at everything he does. Then along came Silk Sonic, and it somehow made Bruno even better, which I hadn't thought was possible. Put On A Smile from this album is potentially the best song I have EVER heard, and I am not even kidding. I love watch reaction videos to their songs because I love seeing how people just can't stop smiling and feeling. That is what music should be about. I really do believe that, in part, Bruno and later Silk Sonic brought it back to the masses. They are just one of a kind. Or two. :)

Thank you for touching on that important aspect of timeless, soulful classics -- and how the men AND women groups/solo artists of that day unashamedly romanced and professed their love for their significant other in their songs. You even touched on real instruments being played in many of our oldies and r&b classics... truth, truth, truth! Now everything is auto-tune on mainstream radio of which I don't listen to either. Music was beautiful back then! Loved y'all reaction!

Tasha said it. This is real R&B. Right now if Bruno wasn't a singer, music would be very boring. Adele and Bruno are the only two singers that are really holding it down. Most other top singers that are good singers have given in to trap and regeton. But, Bruno keeps it real with his old school feel.

I made this comment on an older video but just so I know y’all will see it, here’s a list of country songs y’all should listen/react too on you Journey: “Whiskey lullaby” (Brad Paisley and Alison Krauss) “When I get where I’m going” (Brad Paisley, ft. Dolly Parton) “In color” (Jamey Johnson) “I got a car” (George Straight) “Some girls do” (Sawyer Brown) “Find out who your friends are” (Tracy Lawrence with Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney) “Courtesy of the red white and blue” aka “the angry American” (Toby Keith) (written in response to 911) I would recommend you react to the lyric versions for all, (except “courtesy of the red white and blue”) and not the official music videos, so not to take away from the experience and beauty of each song.
