Ash, I could see in your eyes that you were totally invested in those lyrics. It seemed to evoke such a powerful emotion in you. And Dave is right. The dynamics of you two reacting together bring new levels of discovery. Great review.

There was an interview with her - I think it was on The Fairy Voicemother channel where she talked about that outfit. She was working with someone and it just wasn't going the way she wanted and she's on a budget so with 4 days left she asked someone else she knew if they could help and whipped that performance art outfit out in 4 days. She made the hat herself from a bath towel and still has it and uses it - she pulled it out in the interview. She's really cool and such a great voice

For me it's the sound, created by the instruments and vocals, that create the feelings and emotional response. The lyrics are second to that. Certain singers have voices that just turn on the feels. An example that comes to mind for for me would be Lauren Hill. Chinchilla also has that thing that just makes me emotional.

I see other comments saying the same thing. Ash, your soul and being were captured and were visible as the words began to hit. You seems to have something in your history that connected more than most. You were moved and touched and you allowed yourself to share it with us by not hiding it from your face. That authenticity is why I watch reactors. It's not very common but when it shows up I fall in love with humanity.

I really appreciated the interchange between you two on how you listen to music. I'm lyrics first and always, and have had to teach myself to listen to the music. (Most of my favorite musicians are singer/songwriters). So hearing you, Dave, say that you don't pay that level of attention to lyrics turned on a lightbulb for me. I've always been mystified by people who "miss" things that seem to be to be clearly stated - now I realize that they probably were, but the listeners' attention was focused elsewhere. It should have been obvious, but it was not. Thank you!

I love Chinchilla and this made me fall in love with you two. It is interesting how women react to this vs men. Women's faces get softer where as most men get uncomfortable. It was so sweet though, when he was focusing on the music, but then started listening to the lyrics. You two 🤟🏻❤

Your discussion at the beginning makes me wonder how Dave reacts differently to the album version and video. Such a different feel to it, even though the words are the same (save the bit added on to the end of this one).
