Tuomas was asked to write a song in celebrate the European eclipse of the sun in 1999. He was not very happy about it. He feels that the creation of music should be inspired not forced. He decided to comply and this is the result. One of the early Songs, it is about the solar eclips on 11 of August 1999,,, ** 222 days of light ** is from 1/1/1999 up to the eclips. At that time their german record Label asked to write a song about it. One of the terms was " not longer than 3 minutes", Knowing Tuomas, he made it 4+

One tip from me .Hear Crewish(the Crew of Nightwish).. They recorded Sleeping Sun in first Lockdown, and the Band supported this. But this Version is like Nightwish meets Rammstein..Very good🤘

yeah I agre although at times I also am confused, I've heard that the majority of the songs ae indeed by Tuomas the band then checks and makes their changes and contrbutions, but I admit some info I get from the "army" and confusing, like I "heard" that Floor as well as Emppu are pranksters and give as good as they get like when Emppu on Wacken's "yours is an empty hope where Emppu unplugged her earpiece she gets back at him by putting apple juice in his beer she stated in one of her three minute friday videos that nobody messes with Emppu's beer so I just don;t know, but I do get the impression they get along famously.

Hi Angie & Rollen :) Oh my god guys. This is one my favourite Nightwish songs (although I feel the vocals suit Tarja better for this particular track). You two are so lucky. You've only been reacting an incredibly short time and yet you've managed to find 2 of the very best female vocalists of the last 2-3 decades in Lara and Floor. And Nightwish are pretty much at the top of Symphonic Metal tree too. Did you find these artists randomly, or did someone suggest them to you? Keep exploring and enjoying your musical journey. Love from the UK..... Edit: I'm not going to suggest any specific Nightwish songs to you, as Tuomas is such a fantastic songwriter, and every track is pretty much a masterpiece in it's own right. All I will say is simply to keep listening to their life performances, as they are such good musicians and the staging is always spot on. Basically, their song-list is so very long and you need to explore the Nightwish labyrinth in your own time. Enjoy.... Edit 2: As for Lara, I've just noticed that you have not reacted to the song "Caruso" yet. You really need to hear it. It is sung in the Neopolitan dialect from southern Italy. I recommend you view this version: Lara Fabian - Caruso - Lyrics( English/Italian/Ukrainian) The reason I suggest this live performance is firstly because the arrangement is magical, then secondly the performance is quite honestly incredible, and finally because the English translation is about the most accurate I have seen (and you need the lyrics to interpret the track) :)

When you react, you should be giving your honest opinion. It does not matter if you upset people. If a small minority of (vocal) listeners/viewers don't like it, then they should not be watching reaction videos and should go elsewhere!!! Don't worry about them. If you both give your genuine reactions to a first-time listening of a track, then the vast majority of folks will appreciate and enjoy that. You can't like everything, and you shouldn't feel 'bullied' into saying you do. Just ignore/block all the haters out there!!!!
