You have officially set foot on the world of Morissette. You have barely scratched the surface of this great artist. As for your comment about her being perfect to be Disney princess, she sang A Whole New World on the Wish Bus. This performance was more emotional and bare. What you will notice is her artistry in every performance. It's more than just hitting high notes, the way she sings makes you feel the emotion she is feeling. Morissette (24yrs old) was named after Alanis Morissette (her dad’s favorite singer) Morissette’s nickname is Asia’s Phoenix and she is also known as the Mariah Carey of the Philippines. She can sing any song but she is known for her ballad covers. She just recently started singing some faith related and released some original songs. She has been in the music industry for 10 years so you guys have a lot to react to. I recommend you start off with Rise Up on WISH, Never Enough on WISH, Fly Like a Bird. Asia's Phoenix aka Mori indeed does acclaimed covers but she holds her own with originals like Akin Ka Na Lang (turn on captions), Phoenix, You and I and Love You Still. Her dad was a fan of Alanis Morissette and named her after that singer. Mori is famous for her growls, vocal cries, belts and whistles. It is ironic because she was named after Alanis Morissette, you have got a lot of catching up to do, because you are witnessing the greatest vocalist/storyteller/ARTIST on the planet that everyone is starting to know about, she recently released 2 original masterpieces that she co-wrote with her fiance, Dave Lamar called, LOVE YOU STILL, and PHOENIX, she's a rocker, a rapper, country, Motown, Jazz, R&B, Opera, Musical theatre, you name it, she makes you not want to listen to the original songs that she covers, she is from the Philippines, she was born June 2nd 1996 in Cebu, Philippines, she moved to Manila at the age of 14yrs, to pursue her career with her MUM, she entered loads of singing competitions, and can you believe she never won one, that's why they call her Asia's phoenix because she just rises from the ashes, she doesn't create drama's, doesn't carry an ego, doesn't do drugs, smoke or drink, she's got the most amazing personality, so much charisma, just watch some of her live stage performances,, she has no equal, I wish the Great Aretha was alive today to take her under her wing because she would have fallin in love with this young lady's amazing, phenomenal talent.

Morrissette's daddy's favourite singer at the time when she was born was Alanis Morrissette when Jagged Little Pill dropped in 1996. So is there a connection? Yeah. This Morissette confirmed it when asked. Can't remember the video tho. This was like 3-4yrs as go

her emotions was very real because she is a very religious and spiritual person.. especially for filipinos who have to struggle through hardship her fiance's family own and run an orphanage and she is very involved in the church there... you have to understand the country and the every day life that the people there go through you will understand why morissette is who she is ... most singers there including morissette never had any formal training they all self taught they didn't get their training or couching until later on in life

Actually she’s singer songwriter and has her own songs. Yes she does covers as well. This song was rearranged for her by Gary Valenciano, Legendary Filipino singer (you should react him too). She has a huge voice. She sings a lot of Mariah Carey songs and can do anything Mariah can do, including the highest of notes. You can see them side by side singing the same song, Fly like a bird. Check it out.

She sings every cover song better than the original or just as good, plus she sang the philippinischen Aladin for Disney on the wish bus 107.5bus plus never enough, all live, she is a mix out of Whitney plus all the greats from the 90s and 2000s, this was a Christian song from Freddie santos and arranged from Gary valenciano before Freddie passed away in 2020....

Actually, her father names her after Alanis Morissette... just a fun-fact... she has some original songs in Tagalog and some in English. Tagalog is the national language of the Philippines, if yyou didn’t know.
