IU is talented, skilled and an Artist in every direction she makes time for. It's arguable that she is more well-known as an Actor than she is for being a Soloist. But she is known as 'Korea's Little Sister' because of that sweet vibe she puts off. It really seems like she is ALWAYS a sweetheart, a gentle soul, never a negative thing to say about anybody (maybe about situations but she does not point fingers directly at specific people, really). She's easy-going and apparently really easy to talk to. Seems like EVERYBODY just loves her after meeting her. Lots of Actors, Soloists and Idols stan her (BTS V and JK among MANY). :)

I've been a HUGE Uaena (Fandom Name)for 5 years now. She sold out the Olympic Stadium un Seoul for 2 nights, for her Golden Hour concert (Recommend it) She is probably the "Taylor Swift" type of influence in Asian countries. She writes all of her songs too.. When she makes a comeback, everyone just steps aside and listens with amazement. You are right she is an angel with a very old soul. I throughly enjoyed both reactions to IU. And hope there is much more to come. I know u plan to do a live stream on Twitch unfortunately I will not be able to see that so I am hoping you still react to her here on KZbin. She is a great story teller. And she uses her MV's to add depth and meaning to the story beyond the lyrics. That being said her live performances are stunning and sound as good if not better than the recorded version. Some of her stories encompass multiple songs, like You & I, Above the Time, Blueming and Strawberry Moon which takes you on the journey of a young constantly separated by, time, dimension, barriers. The story starts in 2011 as IU completes the Time Machine her grandfather started in order to go forward in time to when her guy is out of his coma. The date she sets is Dec. 31st 2019. In Dec of 2019 she released the song Above the Time from her Love Poem album which also contains Blueming. In Sep on 2021 she released Strawberry Moon which completes the story. EIGHT is perhaps the saddness song with the most upbeat sound EVER written. It is about IU's struggles dealing with the suicide deaths of 3 close friends. Junghyun of Shinee in 2017, Her very good friend Sulli in the fall of 2019 just as IU was starting her Love Poem tour and Goo Hara around 30 days later. IU found out about Goo's death during her concert and had a difficult time finishing it. But in true IU style and class as she talked to her audience she expressed concerned for her fans and urged them to take care of one another. I discovered IU in 2015 when she released 23. I was into KPOP for about 2.5 years at that point. I immediately dug into her previous work and fell in love with her Modern Times album. I played it over and over for weeks. At that time Ailee was my favorite solo, but IU took that spot. IU never lets me down, but surprises me with songs like Bibi and Coin.
