Thank you for reacting guys. I have watched this so many time and next to "Circus", "The Sound" wins my vote :). I suggest, if you have not already, take a look at their THE FIRST TAKE videos, where they sing songs on the first take. All of these are Japanese of course. I would start off with 'SLUMP' which is the closing song they wrote for ANIMATION "Tower of God" (TOP is the opening - there is a M/V for this), also 'OH', 'Scars, 'Case 143', (after the Korean M/V reaction) and 'Lost me"

Yay! Thanks for reacting to Stray Kids. This is the title from their Japan album "The Sound". For the Japanese songs you have to look up lyrics or what lyric video. "There" has a video, there are MVs or performance videos for scars. There is a First Take video for "Lost Me" and for Battle Ground, DLMLU and Novel (you would need to watch a lyric video for that one). Chill, Thunderous and Case 143 have MVs in Korean. Hope that helps.

thank you for your reactions. The Sound is the first full Japanese album with 10 tracks on the album for Stray Kids. So far the album has to m/v one for The Sound and one for track called There. Some Korean songs were converted to Japanese for the album like Case 143 and Chill from their maxident album and Thunderous from NoEasy album. From what I gather from the members and social media, it isn't a requirement for JYP idols or groups to be fluent in Japanese and English. But he is pushing these groups to those markets and I am sure he will encourage to at least be knowledgeable in those languages, but its not necessary one most of JYP groups has members that are English, Chinese and Japanese. So it isn't a requirement yet to be fluent as long as one member can do most of the talking when needed for those languages. For example Stray Kids Members have 2 members from Australia. One was born in Australia, which is Felix (deep voice) and the other member is leader Bang Chan moving to Australia at a very young age. They both are fluent in English writing and reading. Seungmin lived in the US for about 4 months and was quick to learning the English language. Hyunjin lived in Las Vegas for a few months and knows some English. Han study and graduated in Malaysia and is fluent in English reading and writing. The other 3 members Lee Know, I.N and Changbin have learned more in the 7 years of being with the other English speaking members. They may not be fluent but have some knowledge and understanding of the English language. Stray Kids don't have any Japanese members but, I read somewhere that Lee Know and Bang Chan lead the conversation for their Japanese interviews They are more fluent in Japanese than the other members except Han also has a basic knowledge of the Japanese language. Because BangChan trained for 7 years he mentioned that he learned a lot of the Japanese language for Twice's J-line. (Twice is a JYP girl group and have Japanese members in the group).

Contrary to popular belief, when Han was 9 and moved to Malaysia, where he stayed till he came back to Korea to take his qualifying exams. He was completely homeschooled. (This actually plays a massive role in the existence of his social anxiety. I have the same issue for the same reason.) However, he's profoundly intelligent and was able to learn English, to a point of fluency, AFTER he joined JYPE of all things lol. The language he is fluent in due to his move to Malaysia, is Malay. On top of which, several of the members know varrying amounts of different languages. Since 3RACHA write in Japanese so often, they are by far the closest to fluent. Specially Chan and Han. Both are gifted when it comes to languages. So, Chan Han, Felix and Seungmin are fluent in English and Korean. While both Chan and Han are extremely competent in Japanese. Of course Han is fluent in Malay and Chan can even hold basic conversation in Mandarin. Meanwhile Hyunjin is competent in English, whereas Changbin can hold basic conversation. Felix can hold basic conversation in French. And I believe all of the other members can hold conversation, at least basic conversation, in English and Japanese. However Lino greatly prefers Japanese, although he can understand English EXTREMELY well. He prefers not to speak it, as he does not share the fans love for his accent. Lol

Most of them have studied and are studying Japanese, and Lee Know is choosing to focus on Japanese ahead of English, unlike most of the other Korean members. Chan and Lee Know can communicate functionally at this stage (not fluently, no matter what anyone tells you), and the others can communicate to some extent and understand some stuff. No, it's not a single. It's the title track for an entire Japanese album. That's also the reason there are no subtitles -- Japanese releases don't get subs. 5:23 "Is he in the band?" In a manner of speaking, yes. As one of the members of 3RACHA, the trio of main producers within the group, the people who make essentially all of SKZ's music, he literally writes their music, and within 3RACHA his role is primarily as the core beat maker. In the case of this song, his specific roles (and I mean first credited, not a courtesy tack on at the end; 3RACHA don't play that way) were lyrics, composition, arranging, all the instruments, computer programming, vocal directing, and digital editing for the track. So yeah, he's in the band. 😂 SKZ are self-produced -- they're the ones writing, composing, producing all of this music. All three members of 3RACHA are already in the top 15 of ALL idol producers, Chan (this guy) is in the top 10, and all three of them were just voted into the very exclusive position of full membership in KOMCA based on their exceptional production output. Don't let "first Japanese album" mislead you. There have been several Japanese releases; this is just the first full-length (as in double digits) album

They all know quite good Japanese, 2-3 of them better than the others. Chan is the most fluent, since he didn't have just formal education but also a lot of informal teaching from his friends in Twice when he was younger.

Thank you for your reaction. From what I know is that all of them are fluent in Japanese. Jyp artists are required to learn to speak Korean, Japanese and English.

Contrary to popular belief, when Han was 9 and moved to Malaysia, where he stayed till he came back to Korea to take his qualifying exams. He was completely homeschooled. This actually plays a massive role in the existence of his social anxiety. I have the same issue for the same reason. That having been said, Han is, without a doubt, profoundly intelligent. He was able to learn English to a point of fluency AFTER he joined JYPE of all things lol. The language he is fluent in due to his move to Malaysia however, well... Is Malay. Lol On top of which, several of the members are fluent or nearly fluent in several languages. As for Japanese, since it's a language 3RACHA write in so often, they are by far the closest to being fluent. Specially Chan and Han since both are gifted when it comes to languages. To put it simply, Chan, Han, Felix and Seungmin are fluent in English and Korean. Lino however greatly prefers Japanese over English. That said, do not mistake this for a lack of language skills. He most certainly can understand English, EXTREMELY well. Lol He simply prefers not to speak it, as he does not share the fans love for his accent. Also, the Japanese music market is highy segregated. Hence why they have to have completely separate releases of their Korean music remade into the Japanese language, as well as why it has to be released IN Japan snd all of their albums there cost a fortune to import back out. Anyways, they also dont like amy other language but their own. Hence, no subtitles. Lol If it sounds familiar, thats because America is following right in its footsteps. Just like them, we expect that if its in English, and you are viewing it, then you should be fine. BECAUSE THIS IS AMERICA, SPEAK ENGLISH! lmao (RANT-- First world countries always think the rest of the world needs to cater to them.... Lucky for them these brilliant koop idols do exactly that. As an American, km ashamed when i hear a fellow American say, "SPEAK ENGLISH!" to a Korean, who's in South Korea, and speaks Hangul. Forgetting we are the ones that went to the Korean music industry for entertainment, not the other way around. Sigh, between how the Japanese treat South Korea, and how we in the USA have the whole Xenophobic bs happening where we either can't tell the difference between the different ethnicities we just sum up as Asian. Or the much more horrible "Asian Hate" insanity, I really don't known why they do so much for us in this regard.)
