Haven't seen anyone mention this to you yet, but the commercial with the toaster was to symbolise the stark missiles that killed Wanda's parents. Remember the story Wanda and Pietro told Ultron about them lying in the rubble looking at this missile not sure if it was going to kill them as well.

It didn't really register to me the first time I watched that Mrs. Hart, when she was obviously distressed and saying "Stop it. STOP it," was saying it TO Wanda. So, I think Jane's idea is correct that she felt trapped AND she knew who was doing this to them all.

I've never seen so many layers not even Buffy or Babylon 5. it's like these people crammed every single potential clue or comic book thread they could and do every visual and line of dialogue they could so that absolutely nothing would be random that I love it. So Wanda from what I could tell in the first episode is caught up in a fantasy of her and Vision and Visions boss was her subconscious. As her subconscious tries to wake her out of her fantasy she fights to suppress it in order to keep her fantasy alive. As for the end part on the TV notice the Sword Logo, this is likely hinting at Sword Existing in the MCU. S.W.O.R.D. stands for Sentient World Observation and Response Department and was created to protect the planet from Galactic Threats by Tony in collaboration with Shield. When you see Nick Fury at the end of Spiderman Far From Home it's likely that he is on board the S.W.O.R.D. space station. I think Sword is monitoring Wanda and her powers but that's all I can deduce from the first episode!

Guys in the scene when they are eating, Vision and the wife couldn’t move bc Wanda was controlling them. She was occupied thinking about the things she didn’t remember so she didn’t at first realized what was happening. The one who’s watching them is SWORD, the actual person I think is Darcy. That girl is from Thor 1/2.

•I like Wanda and admit she was powerful enough to fight Thanos, but the most powerful Avenger is Thor, then the Hulk. Not even the Scarlet Witch can fight the Norse god of thunder and the creature who equates to an entire army. I still rank her high on the list, but she's not the most powerful. •I got more Bewitched vibes, but yes, they're parodying 1950s and 1960s sitcoms. •It's a commercial; it adds to the idea that this is a television world.

Basically, Wanda is trap in a sort of dream simulation, that she probably created at first bc she missed Vision(and her brother). But then was trap there by someone else. I’m not gonna tell you who, that’s a Spoiler. The outside world will try to get her out, in other words SWORD. That little girl from Captain Marvel will be an agent. Don’t forget there could be an after credit scene in the Finale.

Why do I get the feeling that Lobster-shaped door knockers are going to be a hot item this year? lol! It is 30 mins each but they put the opening credits at the end before the end credits, making 8 mins of credits (?!!!?); it's a shame they did not put a stinger scene at the end though. But I like how this starts in the middle of it and we don't know how Wanda got cought in this: Creates great mystery and tension. (Confusing!... But great!)

Yeah, thats it really, episode 2 is a bit longer and a little more interesting but mostly its just the same, a wink to old sitcoms and some mild charming humour and now wait a week for another 30 min episode which i hav heard from critics that saw it is uneventful...should be a binge show reality..ah well..Disney fanboys and old hollywood fans will eat it up..

Curiosity have you watched any of the Easter eggs explanations the ones that don't give spoilers on future episodes like screen crush? It can really make a difference almost nothing I can see in this episode didn't mean something deeper. Hope that helps.
