Despite agreeing with you partially, I don't think Shooting star was an era perse, they are THAT good that any style is good for them. I totally think they went back to the Tippy toes and Mascara roots with a more intimidating and none scared look that does really work for them cause they do have a style, that is different from other groups nowdays. XG has that extra spice, that sweet flavour on a dessert that you don't know where it comes from. Is it one of the members? The Style? The vocals canon that have been shown without autotune when live? The confidence and charisma? The love, friendship, care and respect within them? No, it is everything. If I am to analyse this recent girl gang video, back into their inicial hits, they said I am here, I am starting on the engine and I am coming. Girl gang pretty much announces, We just made it here and we are coming strong. I honestly love their wide range of style and talent and I look very forward to see more of them. I really hope they start giving merchandise. I am now their stan.

The MV is only half the song. The actual song is a lil over 3 minutes long. Simon said the MV is short on purpose coz its kinda like a advertisement for the mini album. The scene with chisa's lil solo dance segment in the purple fit where it switched from real and AI looking shes actually doing ASL (American Sign Language). Simon said they made the beat hit hard coz he recently learned deaf/hearing impaired people listen to music through the vibrations. He truly is a thoughtful humble genius. 👽 XG ON TOP 👽

So far what I'm getting is that Cocona is Alita, Harvey is a Siren, Jurin is a Butterfly, Hinata is Frieza or Shadow Clones, Chisa and Juria are Cyborgs, Maya is some kind of Demon. Then the Giant at the end is a Giant Mecha Wolf signifying XG's ALPHAZ. There's a Full Audio/Lyric Video for it too.
