Absolutely love when people build homes inspired by towns they know in real life. It tends to tickle a certain curiosity in my brain knowing it's somewhat based off a real home. You talking about your mother painting your bedroom walls with zoo animals sounds like such a sweet memory! It reminded me of when builders make their childhood homes in the sims or a relative's home (personally I keep making different versions of my late grandma's cottage). (Ps: ofc I love the easel being in the nursery and the justification for it. Also totally stand with the decision to put the planter boxes in every build)

I love how cute base game houses are now compared to the early days of the game! I've been watching you for many years & still absolutely love whenever you build something, theres just a unique charm to it & your voice overs are always relaxing! You should check out some English terraced houses as they're sooo fun to make in the sims! Please don't be too hard on yourself ❤

This house is so cute I love it. Also I’d also sit on my front porch a lot as a kid but specifically during rain or thunderstorms… in a metal chair so I was definitely playing chicken with nature lol. We’d get these massive thunderstorms tho especially when it was the end of summer so it was fun to hang out and watch it

We don't see a lot of open plan homes here in the UK either. Probably because we often have cold winters and smaller rooms are easier and cheaper to heat. love this build

What a cute little house. So for floorplans, I'm kind of opposite of you. In Sims I do enjoy building closed concept homes because sometimes when I really really just feel like unleashing creative energy on a build, having more walls to decorate is more fun. As long as it's not overly complicated with extra tiny halls and stuff, it's fun. IRL I like at least a semi-open living space. In a dream world, I'd have a designated office/computer space to separate when I need to get some work done for Patreon or offline work. But I lived in a super separated closed concept apartment, and I just felt very confined there. In terms of building, I don't think I've touched Sims 4 in a couple months. I've been mostly in a Stardew Valley hole. 😂 One thing I kinda want to do is play around in CAS in Sims and make all the Stardew townies just for fun.

I’m building a barbie mansion rn. It’s getting there. Have you ever thought about building a Queenslander style house? They’re a bit big, but they’re so full of character and cool. Best type of architecture to come out of Australia tbh
