Yes sorry, she made at Mater Point very clear, and she was definitely cool, collected in this in this video. But she really don't understand dating apps. What she said about the algorithm is not true at all. The address doesn't work the way she thinks it is. That's the way people think it works that's how they want you to think it works and this is not some conspiracy theory it's literally been proven that's not how it works. I'm not guessing shouldn't be surprised that they don't understand it too much if they don't use the acronym selves and they're not in a position to ever because they have their Partners. But man, they really don't understand at all what is going on on Tinder or any of the other dating apps

agreed, it's just another medium, and you get to vet people based on their profiles and initial responses (or lack thereof) and grammar/ politeness (or lack thereof). Sometimes meeting in person you are limited by who's in your proximity but your circle expands with virtual networks like these apps. If anything you find out what you care about (e.g. hobbies/ beliefs/ values) without asking, and you see what their best first impression looks like.

The problem with online dating is that a lot of people fake their weights and use 4-5 years old photos when they're still thin. They use pics of only their faces or close up. I recently saw this video of this girl straight up said that she uses bumble for ego boost and she doesn't really reply. It's not surprising, but also problematic for other people. If you're looking for genuine connection, then be real and genuine.

The thing is they don't understand dating apps in general. I don't know what you're talking about that there was ever stigma. The same with online dating really it's just that about 80% of people on most populated dating apps are going in with the attention of short-term. So if you're going in there with the intention of short-term you're not going to care about who that person is, not only that but you're going to be as picky as you want with the type of people you sleep around with. It's not that there's a stigma, and if there was a statement issued a statement that guys are very lonely and we'll swiping swiping swiping swiping swipe cuz they're that desperate. Not because they can't get a perk girls in your life which might be the case, but because nobody's going to click on them cuz everybody's going for short-term. So if you're going for a long-term you're trying to date around with people when we want a short-term, don't be surprised you don't get no where is essentially how you can expect dating apps to work
