Mary, my body does the same thing when I take my handful of pills a couple times a day, I can NOT take my giant potassium horse pill with anything else! It goes solo!! I don't have CF but I understand the constant barking cough. Last time I was in the hospital, which I spent most of my time in the ICU, I had the flu, pneumonia, and MRSA! ! I was released in March but I still have this awful cough. So my heart really goes out to you, what I deal with is just a small fraction of what you go through everyday!! You are a true inspiration!! It's been over a year since I've been sick and lost almost all use of my legs and the pain is incredible but I try to remember to laugh every day!!! Having more test here in a few hours and I haven't slept a wink!! I'm terrified that they're going to tell me there is nothing they can do to get me back on my feet!! So here's hoping we get some good news today!! TFS your life with us!! Your videos help to reduce my excruciating pain by taking my mind off of it for a while!! Take Care!!

I wanted to say that I know what it's like to be coughing your head off or gasping for breath and it's terrifying but God has gotten me through hard times. I have Asthma, another chronic lung disease. May is also Asthma awareness month, so Happy Asthma & Cystic Fibrosis awareness month!

It was Gods plan for you guys to post a video on youtube which lead to this amazing journey informing others about CF and daily life with CF. I myself have bad asthma (not quite as bad as to be labeled severe) and I can understand some of the challenges you face, tired lungs, and dark mucus. What I am trying to say is thank you for all you do. You videos are filled with so much hope and love. I gained a deeper understanding of CF through your stories. Long story shot I pray for you and that your vlogs continue to inform other people like me about the effects of Cystic Fibrosis, and what we, as people without CF, can do to support and encourage those fighting against CF. I can always tell when you're having a rough lung day even if there isn't a clip of you coughing cause because of your pink cheeks! I have the same thing and my family always asks me if I'm feeling okay because it usually means either my heart rate is up really high (which can cause me to pass out) or my o2 saturation is low (which the doctors have absolutely no clue as to why that's happening or how to stop/treat it)! We are rosy cheek sisters!!! I love you guys so much, thank you for always giving me something to look forward to even on my absolute worst days, which are unfortunately outnumbering the great ones, and for always making me feel like I'm not alone and like I'm more like your friend than just a nameless fan in the crowd. You are so amazing and inspirational and I look up to you to help guide me through this rough medical journey. 😘💖✨💜👍🏼🌬

My cheeks always go bright red along with my ears when my ON is acting up! People always think I'm blushing but my family always knows that's when it's acting up and the fever is coming. I need to hunt for some of those Motts applesauce pouches. I was buying the strawberry flavor in the little single serving cups, but then I noticed it has high fructose corn syrup, which is something I prefer to avoid. Interesting that the pouches are sweetened with juices, not corn syrup.

This year with the weird weather this winter they say the ticks are going to be bad here in Oklahoma. One of our dogs(a little 10 lb chihuahua) is allergic to the flea and tick stuff....we tried one of the new long lasting collars that the vet said would be fine....and he swelled up with in a few minutes and he started going down hill fast it was so scary...we thought we would lose him and it made me so upset. But he recovered and we just have to inspect our two chihuahuas everyday...luckily they are short hair dogs. And our four year old twins will only eat the Motts applesauce pouches...they hate all the other brands....the strawberry is their favorite. Here they normally run 1.88$ for four pouches....so I usually will buy two boxes every two weeks as a treat snack...or if we have a doctors appointment or something outside of the house.

my cocker spaniel has allergies to anti tick and flea stuff... have you tried Dawn soap? giving your dog a bath every so often with Dawn should repel ticks/fleas

My dog is so allergic to fleas that he will chew himself raw if he just gets near a flea. I have tried many of products and home made remedies to bring him relief. I found this on Amazon and it is the best thing ever to help his skin not itch so badly. Name brand is Vets Best and product is Hot Spot Spray Natural Formula :)

He has been though heck in his life...extreme physical abuse (his ears were notched with scissors, multiple broken ribs the heeled all weird and left scars from where they poked through the skin) and emotional abuse that has left him with a form of PTSD. It took him over a year to settle in her after we rescued him.

Fruit juices are super sugary (juice is basically the sugary part of a fruit!). Food manufacturers often add them as a way of adding lots of sugar without having to actually write 'sugar' in the ingredients. Even applesauce is pretty sugary to start with (though the acidity can mask the taste). So yeah, it's probably mostly (natural) sugar.

The tick repellents usually kill the tick if they bite, so there is that! Ticks are bad here this year too but fortunately my brother seems to get them all and the 3 dogs haven't had any! LOL!!! And my brother doesn't live with us he just seems to collect them when he comes out here to play and work outside! I definitely don't mind him being a "tick-magnent!" Poor brother! Also, from what I have been reading this year about Lyme (bc of my own health issues) you need to have the tick attached for 24hrs to get Lyme (so they say) so that is good to know in case we find one biting us! Ever since I have been on meds I have never found a tick on me, I HAVE found them dead on the bed though! So I assume my meds are toxic to them?! Odd bonus! I think i like the pink hair!! Maybe not because it is pink but more because friends and family and church members etc will see you and be like "wait, Mary doesn't dye her hair what the what?" and it can start productive and educational discussions about CF!!!
