An experiment just for fun ... and to take with a grain of salt.
Essentially any non-turbulent water jet - or portion of it - is suitable for guiding (coherent) light sources.
For examples of industrial water jet guided laser cutting of metals, ceramics and semiconductor part, head over to: www.avonisys.com

hmmm, nice try, Bob, but you need to couple with some yt experienced people to make it better there definitely is space for improvements. overall it is a cool technology - give it to guys like AppliedScience or similar, to play with. or make some good collaboration project for guys around that social circles.

This experiment is to be taken with a grain of salt indeed. The actual waterjet laser applied a lower pressure range, but a much more powerful laser. The laser in that case is applied to cut (ablate) the material of a workpiece

@@Avonisys yes, I have seen the other videos as well, so as understand how it works, and really appreciate the demonstrations you provide, so as explanations. Thanks for putting some effort into that. Great technology, I'm impressed with what it can do, so as well I'm impressed by what it can potentially do if applied creatively. Basically, you can ablate a 3d shape, as an example, which probably is not interesting to production guys, in most cases, but choosing things right a million or a few million views on that video is not impossible, like this one kzbin.info/www/bejne/n6mZaaKIm65ofdk if it some part of a long-lasting project. I was impressed by the technology, so as I was a bit ashamed that I didn't know it existed before I stumbled on that channel, and seeing that you put some fun content, I thought I may give you few ideas on how to do it a bit better, as thousand few thousand views for a regular video for such great technology is way too low(even if you do comparatively better than many businesses channels I have seen), take look at waterjet channel(as potential, you need a bit a different approach, but will it cut can be on-topic as well). So not necessarily it will bring you immediate sales but more people will be aware and think about applications. So the potential of exposure to the public is way higher than 4k subs, at least 10x of that is a bare minimum, a random guy with a lathe has that potential. But you have some somewhat viral videos, so that's good, so as you can use cool technology to do cool stuff - so there are all ingredients for a good show, it just needs a plot for the show.

@@Avonisys maybe mixing it with the business channel, not necessarily a great move, depends, but seeing you do not mind it in some cases, then it may not matter, but if it does then it can be some different public channel, or as mentioned, in the scope of someones established one. That "Cutting metal with PET bottle and laser" video - guys you have some creativity, lol. Yeah, the "can it cut" topic can be on-topic for sure. can u cut stone, different kinds, can it cut wood what it does with wood, what it does with plastic, etc etc Sure things aren't that all easy, but again there is potential, it just needs to be freed from the stone.

@@Molb0rg Thank you for that. When we started making videos we did not really have that in mind but just wanted to show some cutting result. Over time we try to optimize things and also read along to understand what the audience appreciates to see. We'll try to incorporate as much of that as possible in future projects.

@@Avonisys depends on your capacities, but some long projects if done right as ClickSpring did, they may go well with the public. in any case, yeah, definitely will wait for new videos, keep going, and thanks for your efforts.
