Its true no one cares for us and 2 big reason 1) India doesn't have a positive image in international standard. And some of the reason has already been mentioned. India is constantly shown as poor, unhygienic and rape capital. Which some extent is true. Also when some perverted Indians harassed others online. All this thing become true. 2) Korean appreciate west over others. Just like we do. And why are we interested in them because they provide better content then Indians do.

Just a reminder. We were a colonial country heavily influenced by british. English being used predominantly all over the country is an aftereffect/repurcussion of that which is not the case with korea. English is not as important there as it is here.

Overrated and hyped on KZbin nowadays are Foreigners Try Indian Snacks, {nationality} girl/boy tries Indian {food} Foreigner speaks Hindi, {nationality} boy/girl speaks in {Indian language} Foreigners reaction to {random Bollywood song}, {nationality}'s reaction to {random Indian song} Foreign girl wears Indian Sari, {nationality} wears {Indian clothes} There are tons of such videos on similar lines. Think once. Would you as an Indian get similar hype or reactions from them when you try their snacks/food, or speak their language, hear their music or wear their clothes? They would hardly care that you do. But for some reason, Indians (maybe other south Asians too) make a foreigner a celebrity for just eating their cuisine or wearing their garments or speaking their language or listening their songs. I seriously don't understand why do the people in my country are so much in need of approval, validation and appreciation from outsiders when they themselves don't get much for doing the same. You ate American snacks, spoke German language, wore Japanese kimono, listened to a Korean song etc. Did you do something great? No, you just experienced another culture. What's the hype about it?
