This third game really just highlights how stupid the wheeled vehicle mechanic is. Granted it is a game, but having vehicles that race around at 90kmh and able to spin 180s without flipping, or perform massive jumps without damage, while dodging or bouncing shots, is just idiotic. To have two on one team and not the other is just ensuring a rigged victory

A very difficult tank to play, but I really like it. Many players forget that they also have a gun and should use it. And the biggest nightmare of the Manticore is a enemy player in the EBR 105 driving through the center of the map like a headless chicken, straight to our bush...

Yeah it is difficult to play, but that's why I love world of tanks. Every tank has different statistics, play styles, guns, speed, and just every tank has different and I love it when I find a tank that I like enough to play hundreds of games in just for fun to master the tank and not just olay to grind the line. It makes the game fun for me

Something about this tank makes me a good light tanker. I’m pretty mediocre with lights but with this tank I have a 55% WR over many games. I think it’s because you have to just go and hide and play very carefully and strategically.

I have found this to be true in the Setter and the LMH as well (havent played tier 9 or 10 yet). The poor dpm forces you to play passive and any aggression must he highly calculated.

Love this whole line. Almost have the t10 and will try and mark it. They make you a better player overall if you can make them work.

One more drawback, it likes to burn. My ultimate spotter config is CVS, bond optics, bounty exhaust, pudding & tea, and camo directive. Sit. awareness, camo skill, and recon. 474 m view range, 55% concealment. I spot the EBR's way before they spot me.

To be fair, the British LT is a good line to learn the art of spotting. It really rewards people for spotting instead of going for damage all the time.

I only play the AMX 13 57 light tank at this point. The arty nerf killed their value as spotters and teams in randoms are unreliable as F. The AMX has the ability to do fun burst damage but the cost of gold amo is so high I never use it but still have 2 MOE on the tanks and enjoy it greatly.

@@Aindok Ofc but playing for dmg when your team sucks is still an option for EBR, Sheri, T100 etc. Manti has 20 shells and shit elevation so all you can do is spot. If you think that's balanced, then you never played competitively in any lights.

I agree with you there but that is the problem with the whole class. they is a light tank doing more alpha damage compared to a medium tanks ? why do they have good guns with decent alphas and dpm when they are supposed to be scouts. no one would have issues with ebr if they couldn't do 450 damage while auto aiming at 100kmph

@@canakn8685 Manticore is tied with T-100 for best tier 10 tracked light tank if you are a unicum light tank player. It may be the most map-dependent light tank, but on open maps it easily out-spots all other light tanks. Maybe NA is different because our players actually shoot tanks that are spotted but the Manticore does feel quite powerful on maps that aren't Ensk/Himmelsdorf, as it should be.

Half of a pirosami first game How I would change this tank: plus 2 gun elevation, and adding 10 shells to the ammunition. However I would change the gun to be a conqueror gun with 440 alpha but around 15 second reload. 440 standard damage with same standard but around 300 apcr pen and 660 damage hesh round with 120 millimeters pen, just to screw over EBR

Obviously, you're a pro player (not an insult, just the fact: you play World of Tanks for a living, it is completely natural that you will be one of the best players), and at your level a lot of the judgement of a tank is player preference. I mean, you can (and frequently do) take any tank into a game and make it work most times even if it takes an effort. Even if the tank is objectively bad, like if I take that tank out with my completely average abilities I will get wrecked no matter what I try to do. All that to say - before you rest your judgement of this tank, check out Guido1212's videos with it. He really likes the tank and for reasons you might appreciate and may not have considered. It can be driven actively and to good effect. I'm not saying you will change your mind. But you might.

Yeah worst thing wg is doing is when they trying to do a historically correct tanks hmmm how many people knows that Maus was never moving in reality... Same with other paper fantasy tanks... (yes yes 2 Maus were build) Btw at first Manticore was even with lower ammo like 16 if i'm not wrong... Ok i'm not really in mood to talk about bad thinks that's not really looking so bad. Just because of what's happening in real world... I Aced Manticore not long time ago what i don't like about it is that it has only 20 ammo + it has no gun depression and elevation yy you can get some gun depression in the back but... One of the best thing it has besides the cammo that it's almost like ELC EVEN 90... That you can make 360 degree turn in 1 place. p.s. Funny fact i found 1 good bush with it too just in Abbey map...
