I can't believe this hasn't been done yet
Few things:
1. Straight Outta Nowhere is excluded, otherwise I couldn't upload the video due to copyright. Version with the movie can be found here: vimeo.com/751350646
2. Feel free to use as a scenepack, though keep in mind this wasn't made with the intention of editing (text over some clips, cropping).
3. Resample is turned off, this is just how the footage looks for the first two seasons and is the highest quality I could get it in.
4. Brief dialogue with characters interacting with Katz are kept in because I hate when these types of videos cut out the context.

Actually, he plays the the role of an antagonist more than a villain or a Nemesis because it's not that actively against courage (he just gets in his way) to be a villain and doesn't have something personal with him like a Nemesis could do. He fits more in the *antithesis* definition, because he's the solar opposite of courage both in mind and design concepts.

I always loved whenever a character would get their own theme in the show, and Katz is no exception. I love how it made me both intrigued and genuinely frightened by him as a child. Like there were really people like him in the world, those who look suave and charming on the outside, but use it as a front to get what they're really after.

I adore Katz soso much. He hits that sweetspot of being a really dark villain. He's basically a sadistic serial killer, with waxing motivations throughout but all in the realm of believable lunacy that is the rest of CTCD. Not that I don't love "The Mask" or other episodes that were about more real world issues, but Katz just worked so well at being a foil to courage- it's a shame he wasn't in the show more often. His leitmotif is burned into my head forever. So cool.
