COURSE VLOG - Am's V Pro's - Golf de Saint-Jean-de-Monts | Part 6
Welcome back to the channel where this week we are back in France and playing the what can only be described as STUNNING Golf de Saint-Jean-de-Monts.
It has been decided that the Amateurs will be taking on the Pro's in this weeks match up so James Pickard and Jordan Mayne with be taking on myself (Dan Hendriksen) and my Brother Paul.
The course at St Jean de Monts offers wonderful, contrasting golf. The front 9 run through thick pine forest with tight fairways, whilst the back 9 offers pure links golf with several holes running along the coast. In our opinion it is undoubtedly one of the best courses in western France.

What a course. Stunning, but frightening!! Captain Armlock comes good at end to save himself Another brilliant vlog, with great cinematography from Jordan. Sun setting on 17th was beautiful. If Dan hadn’t had the extra Sauvignon at lunch then you could all have been home before the sun disappeared!!

I’m so fortunate to had a bunker lesson from Dan. Following his instructions every bunker you are playing out of feels like cheating. It has become so easy now to hit it close to the flag out of any bunker now 🥳

Great series and fantastic course. I feel for Jordan, he had a bad series. James made some clutch putts, Dan and Paul played solidly. Those Hendrikson’s can really play. Love Dan’s swing, it’s so darn smooth and effortless.

Mmm....great player that you undoubtedly are Dan, you don't half get a a large dose of the old rub of the green. Three dead drives all bounced out of the trees. The funniest parts are the small digs that you and Paul both make to one another even when playing together! Brotherly rivalry and comedy gold. A good series, well played.

I think St Jean-de-Monts is a Marmite course, you will either love it or hate it. Great views etc, but I hated it when I played there, too narrow, too punishing for even a mid-handicap golfer. But a great week of vlogs guys and pleased for Jordan holing that final putt. Looking forward to La Bretesche vlog week which is no doubt coming shortly
