Love this course. Since it was built in 1925, the greens are not far from the next tee box. Small greens that are mostly crowned. Hard to get a ball to stick unless you land it from orbit! Definitely a bump-n-run green strategy. Absolutely love the elevation changes!! Very reminiscent of The Ravines when that course was open. You didn't mention the driving range being a pond.

I use to have one of the warbird along with the titleist dci irons when I was younger =) Awesome clubs! I do believe they were around 93-95ish for the year. Think I still have the warbird but sold the dci's for new set.

Palatka is legitimately one of the best public courses in the area. Interesting design, affordable, playable for all levels yet still enough of a challenge to interest the better golfer, and a ton of fun. Good video.

Just local junior and club tournaments. There wasn’t much in Ottawa back when I was 13. Maybe shooting mid to low 80s 🤷🏼‍♂️. Can’t quite remember, it was a long time ago lol
