I don't think the judge was trying to humorous. I think he has been dealing with these type of people a lot and just chose to not going to debate with them. It takes a highly intelligent person to become a judge they are not your average police officer, they are geniuses and usually have big dose of common sense. Individuals who identify as sovereign, usually are not that highly educated, because with that attitude, they won't be accepted into college. This man was just repeating what he heard others say without understanding it. There is no way he can defend that against a highly educated person.

Sovereign Citizens are scum
@slivyo3 жыл бұрын
@@Jabholt013 what is scum about believing in the God given right to freedom? The individual life is of importance and has been stripped away. You cannot use the "If you're not happy here, leave." Because that's not possible. Being born here means you are owned. You can't leave without a passport, you have to pay for it, and pay for the travel. Where are you going to go? You can't go anywhere either legally because everywhere else has the same legislation and monetary limitations. What happens to someone who believes he can live off the land? He can provide his own shelter, clothing, and food. He can't do so legally. You cannot legally live off of the land because you have to pay property taxes. I do agree they are scum if they plan on doing things they know go against morality, such as driving under the influence. But that is not just law, it should be of moral concern as well.
@MarinaRhymin3 жыл бұрын
@@slivyo One problem with SCs is that most of these people are “top readers.” They read the first paragraph of an article and think they know enough about the law to be an expert. Their logic is flawed and there’s no substance behind their rhetoric. If you live in this society, you must abide by its laws, or that society falls apart. It’s as simple as that. It may not be ideal, but that’s reality. Sovereign Citizens live in a fantasyland and expect others to treat them as though they are above the law simply because they don’t like being told what to do. Meanwhile, they share in the _benefits_ of the current system, like anyone else. It’s pure entitlement. Is it that strange that no one likes them? 🤷♀️

Trying to use a procedure against the court that he was not versed in. This is a good example of someone who is in over his head and doing something for the wrong reasons. He knew enough to get himself in trouble. If you want to know the premise upon which he was ATTEMPTING to represent himself by.
