To counter balance your thoughts; Although I'am a huge Eric Lang fan as well, I found this game to be excellent. Looks amazing, dripping with theme, digestible to learn & very sound mechanics. Not overly complex, but I have other games for that purpose, like Vital Lacerda games. For what it is, I would say it is excellent & a keeper.

Agree with you totally Philippe, Court is excellent. One of the best area control games I've ever played. Even at 4p it went fast, I taught it to 3 people and we got through the game with an extra 5 unity tokens in 2 hours.

Today I got the game, I checked the components and you know what while checking components reading the cards... Felt exactly like you said...flat I was afraid of that, but yeah ouch. You played this with 5?

Only played with 3. I can only imagine I would like the game less with 4 or 5 to be honest.

@@ChairmanoftheBoard Actually people are saying that the best player count for this game is 5 as spaces and competition becomes more tight and thus decisions where you go and what not start to matter a lot more

Yes I can understand that but the action phase would be agonisingly drawn out.

Not at all. That's because of the action selection where everyone gets to do something.
