Some questions I've developed after my first play through: 1) once a player runs out of rings, should they still pay 5 etherea for the mourner card? And will this still increase dreadsgrip? 2) are court cards always supposed to be reshuffled and dealt as an entire deck each round? 3) are they making an expansion with more cards/figures?
@WatchItPlayed4 жыл бұрын
1) By rings, are you referring to the figure bases? If so, you'll find this discussed here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hmfOiYWXr5eGkM0 - you don't gain the figure, but the other aspects still resolve. 2) Yep, you'll find that here; kzbin.info/www/bejne/hmfOiYWXr5eGkM0 3) Not sure. Have fun playing!

Of course my wife killed me. But I don't even care. This is definitely worth every single penny!! I think it's going to be a regular one for us. I definitely want to play with more players, but we had a great game with just the two of us. It's got a touch of MTG and then enough strategy and a bit of luck. But it was definitely not bad with two players at all. I love the element of semi cooperative yet competitive platform. Another winner!!!! Thank you so much for opening another door!!!

Rodney, as always - thank you for the great video. I learned this game on my own this weekend, and thought I would visit your video to see if I missed anything. One thing that is still confusing, is the Court Card Drafting. I followed the chart, but was confused as the drafts increased. Two questions for you: Do all dealt cards get drafted each round? When a new round occurs, I know you switch directions, BUT, do you also keep one additional card? For example: Draft #2 - Do you take two cards then pass, then one then pass, then one then pass, etc? Thanks!
@WatchItPlayed4 жыл бұрын
That chart is showing all the steps of the draft. In some way the chart may be causing the confusion. Just do what I say in the video. Deal everyone a certain number of cards as dictated by the number of players, then pick one to keep and pass the rest (and repeat keeping 1 and passing until you get to the end). Future drafts are done the exact same way.

@@WatchItPlayed no worries mate. I looked at BGG reviews and there were a few people who have been playing 2 players and enjoying it. I do have another question though. What's the difference between the Kickstarter and Consumer version? Amazon is selling the "Kickstarter" version for $200 US. I am trying to figure out what the components are going to be made of at that price. The size of the game seems to warrant a higher level normal price. I am late to the party sorry but I was wondering when you get to the action phase do you follow in order or do you do one at a time so like play a court card and then pass turn or you you do all five each action phase if it’s all five there is a card called EXRAILE THE TRAITOR ANGEL and he says he allows you one additional action so what would that do? Also When fighting the pink dudes it says pay one etherea to add one to the dice does that mean extra roll or to add one more point if it means add one more point and you let’s say you get a 2 pay 2 etherea to make it four? And do you pay first or pay after?
@WatchItPlayed3 жыл бұрын
Hey there, I'm always happy to try to help with rules questions, but if the answer is provided in the video, than I have to direct you there. You'll find an index in the description to help you find the section you might be looking for.
@Mattiestraat3 жыл бұрын
You can take 1 action each turn. Exraile allows you to circumvent this and take an additional action. When you fight Rakers you can pay Etherea to add to the dice result. If you happen to throw a 1 and you need atleast a 3 to win, you will need to pay 2 Etherea to increase your result to 3.

I saw when the Ethereal track hits 10 the player or players who caused this lose 3 unity. If it happens because the Celestial tithe isn't met, is it just the lowest contributor/s that are penalised (like for the Dreadsbane track), or everyone?

Hey Kristijan, I don't review on this channel. I just teach how the games are played. That said, I only feature games that I like in some way, so that's as much of an opinion as you'll get on my tutorial videos. I'd rather viewers decided whether the game appealed to them (or not) based on their own tastes, rather than factoring my biases into it. Thanks for checking it out!

Kristijan, I got a chance to play it during the KS campaign. It was fun -- it feels similar to Blood Rage to me, with a fewer interesting twists. I've always used the guild figure tracks to determine order as opposed to quantity. For example in a 3 player game with 1/3/5 Mortis Knights respectively as long as the players markers are in that order you can quickly identify who has the most. The 5 spaces I assume are for 5 player games (KS edition).
