I was at Woodstock , Atlantic City rock festival & I was at Monterey rock and saw Janis Joplin., second time was at Atlantic City Rock Festival. Querky. Odd voice all over the place but such passion, energy and stage presence & lit that place up. Just like Courtney does. The buzz about Courtney is unreal. Good bad everyone talking about her. Once every 50-60 years you see what you do. Like a comet Courtney is. An event. You absolutely will not forget nor stop talking about here. No one in the history of AGT, and they have incredible acts, has lit up the internet like her. No one has more views. She is not of this era as Howie Mandel said during her audition. Courtney will become like the greats before her. R&R revival and she will be leading it.

It's cool you're just now seeing this, Courtney's 1st appearance on AGT months ago. She's 14 now and has videos all over KZbin, as you would expect from someone with about a billion worldwide views. From age 10 to now, from Elvis to Sam Cooke to Ella Fitzgerald to contemporary, she can sing soft and beautiful or rock it up better than anybody else around now. Do yourself a favor--great reaction, by the way--and see just a week old video (by xSIRRACx on KZbin) of Courtney actually covering Janis Joplin with the English rockers, the Struts, as well as all her AGT performances. There is nobody like Courtney Hadwin, who Is above talent shows, has a fashion contract with Calvin Klein, and is recording originals for Syco/Arista/Sony Music as of now!

The AGT Audition song is by, Otttis Redding. In the earlier 90s a band called the, Black Crows also covered the song. Courtz is a genuine breed of singer, performer, and songwriter. She has guite a few idols who have inspired her. I've never witnessed any singer turn others' original songs into her own! Very good reaction to an exceptionally talented singer/songwriter! Courtney is now independent (without a record deal because she wanted to carve out a certain "niche"). You nailed it - Janis Joplin and James Brown are 2 of her favourites and biggest influences. There’s lots of her younger stuff on KZbin where she shows a different side of her voice - pretty as you might call it. It just shows her range. One of my favourites is Beautiful Me. Link below. I'm amazed how people are sleeping on this girl. She's got so many video for someone to watch yet all those from the past who didn't continue looking into here just laid down and went to sleep.
