Hi Maj. Never know who is going to surprise you and blow the roof off of an arena. Courtney shouldn't have been a total shock to you because she had your jaw on the floor when you reacted to her 'Old Town Road' about five months ago. You saying this video has a lot of views is a bit of an understatement, as it went viral and now has been viewed over 500M times and Courtney herself, has over 2 Billion online views and is loved by millions. Courtney went through the rest of her stint on AGT singing classic 60's and 70's rock by the like of James Brown, Tina Turner and Janis Joplin. I suggest any of her other AGT performances for future reactions, because you haven't seen someone dominate a stage until you see the way Courtney does it. Once you see rocker Courtney a few times, then we can start with all the other facets of Courtney's incredible talent that you haven't even begun to imagine. Those who knew her only from AGT, never realized that besides rock, Courtney has one of the most beautiful and versatile voices that music has ever seen. From Rock, to R&B, Funk, Soul and Ballads, Courtney can sing it all and do it better than just about anyone else ever did. Add to her vocals and stage performing skills, a creativity where she re-invents every cover she sings into a completely a completely new song and consistently puts the originals, even huge hits to shame, that she is a dynamite guitarist and a powerhouse of a song writer and that young 13 year old that walked on to that stage nearly 3 years ago, turns out to be the best thing that ever happened to music in decades and the true voice of a lifetime. She has been trying to release her debut album of originals for over a year now, but it has been repeatedly been delayed by the Covid situation. As I said above, Courtney has a worldwide following and is loved by millions. When that album drops, it is going to just explode. I've put links to her next performance on AGT so you can see what a stage demon she is, in the very best sense of that word, and three other covers that Courtney released to show how truly versatile and beautiful her voice is as well as to show how her style of passion and emotion, long since forgotten, is fully relevant to today's music. Don't think you'll be quite as surprised next time, when you go into a Courtney reaction, because you'll know you're going to be listening to an artist for the ages: Courtney Hadwin - Papa's Got a Brand New Bag: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mWjXhmSZbdujjJo COurtney Hadwin - Sign of the Times: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rmqzmZxsjteaaM0 COurtney Hadwin - Sucker: kzbin.info/www/bejne/n3eYZJqhjpV9n68 Courtney Hadwin - Someone You Loved: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m4OchquZqM-Iia8

When you see a singer standing with his or feet feet spread like that, that is significant. They are setting themselves like an old school fencer, ready to move. The kid is shy, no question, but she knows what she can do. Will it be good enough? That she does not know. I studied singing and swordsmanship. I knew the moment I saw her feet spread that she was going to be good. I had no IDEA I was going to hear the Black Crowes covered by Janis Joplin! My jaw hit the floor.

Another 13 year-old that will Blow your mind is Angelina Jordan. She won Norway's got talent at age 7. America's got talent the champions season 2 she does her Take on bohemian rhapsody and then her second song is goodbye yellow brick road which is a cover of An Elton John song. If you want to see where Angelina started then gloomy Sunday Is Her audition for Norway's got talent. I put a spell on you is age 9.. Then at 13 she was on America's got talent. Right around or after her 15th birthday she released million Miles. It is An original song based on the loss of her grandfather. You want to react to the official lyric video. The artwork was done by her grandmother And really adds another layer to the song.

Courtney gets so many reactions lately, and I'm running out of things to say without repeating myself over and over. lol I'll just say she will hopefully be releasing her album of originals this year, hopefully soon. We are all waiting for that, but really looking forward to going to her concerts. She's a throwback to what concerts used to be about. Stage presence and lots of energy and passion. You might want to see the other side of Courtney singing ballads. Like "Someone you Love" and "Sign of the Times" on her Vevo channel. I've been waiting for you to get back to Courtney. After you did "Old Town Road" I think I kept coming back and asking for the rest of the 4 coves she did on that Channel kzbin.info/door/J0UIOws33p5zRE6Eul3rlwfeatured So I'm happy you got back to her even if you didn't realize who this was at 1st. Btw, that channel has something to do with All Got Talent shows. They used the lion reference because on the original video Simon says something like "You come out like a shy little thing and then you sing and your like a LION" Here's hoping you get back to reacting to Courtney again.

Courtney is the best singer ever.. She becomes the song, the emotion of the song, and she brings the audience into the song every time she sing. After listening to her you never go back ever. You see Courtney redoes ever single song out there and makes it her own. NO ARTIST ever in the life of this planet can do that and no one will ever be able to do it ever again. This is why I call her the Queen of all Music since the beginning of time. When she sings I get shivers, I fell the emotion, I hear the words, and I envision the intent of the song only because Courtney is the only singer to ever and will ever do that ..

This juing panel had a singer on it. The African American woman next to the bald guy is Mel Bi (scary spice) of the spice girls. a pop group. For a general talent show you have a comedian, a retired singer, a model and Simon Cowel the producer..

That was a good reaction, Maj! You're right: She sings with truckloads of soul, funk and emotion and it's not a big surprise since her musical heroes are singers like Little Richard, Etta James, James Brown, Janis Joplin and Aretha Franklin. As a next reaction, would you please react to her rendition of "SUCKER" by the Jonas Brothers. The original is a so-so pop song but Courtney adds a bunch of funk and soul to the song and completely changes this one around. THANKS! - kzbin.info/www/bejne/n3eYZJqhjpV9n68

The thing about these shows is that you cannot have a contract with anyone the point of these shows is to hopefully get a contract...and the winner of this show gets 1million bucks and a contract either on Vegas or elsewhere...but a lot of them get contracts.

dude I hear ya! I kind of said the same thing. Now, I've hear a lot of people mention other young singers, which I have seen too, but none of them drew you in like Courtney did. You transformed with her and you feel the music with her, not just watch a young talented kid sing that has really good vocals. Her, singing is coming from her soul and like you said wish they had people who were singers judging who "Know" music and "Rare" talent when they hear compared to other artist who are good, but don't have that "rare" quality where the girl just captures you in so many ways. But, I know exactly what you're talking about. But, also would explain her loses on all the talent shows, well... National Talent shows, because like AGT it's not just singers. Now, I've seen all the winners and their talent and yes Shin Lim was like wow, and what have you, but he doesn't have what Courtney has and in my opinion not 1/10 of the talent. Now, I've been hearing this crap about her having stage experience, Yes, well you don't think Shin Lim had stage experience? He's been doing that for how long in his career? Oh, by the way he was a pianist, then now magician. So, She should have won. I don't believe what people have been telling me about this voting system either, and AGT excuses. No, doubt and by what Simon had been saying on the show, he can't figure out how she lost... well millions of people couldn't figure it out either, there something wrong w/the math...so I don't believe the voting results. That's just my opinion... I feel it was all political right from the start w/her at UK Voices Kids right down to AGT. And like Howie even said, he's given golden buzzers before, but he said this was something different, and that he'd never seen before. What we haven't seen before is the "Raw" True talent like back in the old days, where performing was an art. You had to dance, sing, and act all into one. Yes, many of them practiced their asses off and what have you, but they had the soul to do it and captured you from the bat... She'll probably be the female "Elvis" of our time if it last long enough. Those people who seen her live are freaking lucky, and don't know how lucky they were to see this girl that close up and do what she did... Which she shouldn't be even doing at that age, her voice so mature, controlled, and timing of ranges is out of this world... it doesn't match her talking voice and her electricity of energy. I've seen the other singers and even popular ones right now and they do not perform like that. There is a singer that does remind me of her and that's Linda Perry of 4 Non Blondes. Look her up and you'll see what I'm talking about if you really "know" music... then compare to Janis Joplin and you will really know what I'm talking about... Linda Perry had that range and quick change in scale w/her vocals... I'm waiting for her album to come out which I believe will reach Platinum or if there is a higher level now, don't know, considering Billie E. accomplishments in the young female artist industry... but, to do what Courtney is doing, don't think many musicians are going to be able to keep up or touch that level... Courtney is now what 16 going on 17 maybe... so she has many years ahead of her to master in performing... In my deep music opinion a female Prodigy...
