Hi. Courtney's version of this song is the most beautiful rendition I've ever heard, There have been many artists, including some very well known, that have put out their take on this classic, and Courtney shows everyone how this song was meant to be sung. There is literally no other artist that can reach out and grab your heart and soul when they sing like Courtney. She sings with so much passion and empathy and she has the ability to pull you in so that you can feel every nuance of the feeling that she is trying to convey. This treasure has now become one of my my favorite Christmas songs ever and it was played many, many times in my household this Christmas season and will be for many Christmases to come. Courtney's rendition is destined to become a true Christmas classic. Courtney said that she chose to release this song because 2020 had been a very tough year and we all needed some healing and she wanted to do her part to help that healing process. Courtney's version of this song is so uplifting and touching, that only someone with a heart of stone could fail to be touched to their very core by her rendition. The original of this song may have been sung by a legend (John Lennon), but I can, without a doubt, feel nothing even close to the emotion when I listen to the Lennon version, that I do when I listen to Courtney sing it. The inclusion of the family pictures and Courtney's childhood photos add so much to this song. It offers a very personal and intimate glimpse into who Courtney is as a person. They re-enforce, better than any words, the sincerity with which Courtney approaches this song and leaves no doubt as to how heart felt her intention of making this song one of healing and hope was to her. I don't know how you can listen to this beautiful and empathy packed rendition and not want to do your own part to make this world a better place. This song and the way Courtney sings it portrays the true meaning of Christmas unlike any other.

This song and video became my favourite Christmas song a couple of years ago, replacing Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas. This year, I have a new favourite song, Courtney Hadwin's Christmas Rocks. You should seriously check it out, even if it is past the Christmas season. It will surely put everyone back in the mood for it.

Great reaction. I remember some people not getting the pics. You saying it’s like a video Christmas card is a great way to describe it. It reminds me of a video picture frame of my kids we gave the grandparents one Christmas.
