Yes. The open tuning adds such a richness to the song. So many great versions out there but this , in my opinion, duplicates the emotion that Foley must have written into it.

What a beautiful voice, and great song. The best rendition of this song I personally have ever heard and I think I have listened to them all. Mr. Foley wrote it, and he was a very good writer and artist. I think he did a very fine job of his song. He gave it his feel. You, young lady have your own style and that is so very important. You are who you are. Beautiful!

Blaze didnt actually write it. A gentleman called Michael David Fuller wrote this song and it was given to country artist Merle Haggard long before Blaze did his cover version.
