Charisma is such an easy trait to obtain and a lot of it stems from just living in the moment. Whether you're telling someone a story, cracking jokes, learning more about another person, or even having a deep and meaningful conversation, being present in that moment and fully engaging in it can make you come off as truly charismatic because most people are in their heads 24/7 judging every little thing they do and say.

Very true. Staying in the present moment is difficult to achieve. Buddhist Monks amongst others are able to do it. It takes a lot of practice to achieve and maintain it. It is a lifelong way of being.

And speaking of “Presence…” If you learn to listen to a woman when she’s talking, and you’re able to give her your undivided attention, and actually be “present”’ in the moment with her. Meaning, you’re not thinking about anything else, or what you’re going to say, and you’re just there with her… and at the same time, you’re making a lot of eye contact with her… she’s going to be able to sense all that immediately, and be totally turned on by you! Gaining charisma really comes with confidence. Just gradually put yourself in situations you wouldn't normally find yourself comfortable in. Eventually very few things will make you uncomfortable and the confidence and positivity will easily be noticed in your speaking.

When I was little, my father was the building inspector in the community in which we lived. I would go out with him when he did his inspections. What struck me about my father on the job how he would put the builders and home/property at ease asking them questions about themselves. Also, when he found something wrong at the building site, instead of blatantly pointing out the mistake to the builders, he would gently reminding them that was not correct, and allowed them to correct their mistake. When my Dad left that position, he was replaced by a not-so-diplomatic inspector who clashed with people. Looking back, my Dad gave me a great gift in charisma and how to treat people. Improving your social skills etc of course can be learned, but you're not going to get women just because you're a good speaker.. Your "Dress for Success" tip is SO BANG ON! (Especially the part about making a good first impression). I WISH I had learned/realized this 10 years ago. I was good friends with this woman I met online, and developed strong feelings for her. We had gotten close, bantered, flirted, etc and were about to have our first video chat, and I did not put ANY effort whatsoever into my appearance. I foolishly, and selfishly thought, "If she likes me she SHOULD like me as I am " (even though *I* was the one who wanted HER to like ME.) The video chat was nice, but a few weeks later she told me that she was very disappointed in my lack of effort, and not impressed by her first impression. She pointed out how I had dirty dishes in the background, was wearing an old t-shirt, my hair wasn't combed, etc while she made sure her bedroom was very neat, dressed very nice, had makeup on etc. I felt awful, and so ashamed of not only how I had looked, bit also how right she was, and how I totally disrespected someone I truly love. We're still friends, but that's not the point. As they say, "You never get a second chance to make a first impression." and I blew it BIG TIME!

You say you are still friends with her so maybe try one more time and if not, cut contact and walk away. It is no use staying friends with her if it is not going anywhere. As for me, if a woman does not put out the cookie I cut contact and move on. My time and emotional energy are valuable.

When I was younger I thought that I didn’t have the best understanding of how to read people because I had trouble connecting to people. I realized that I had an inaccurate perception of how I was perceived by my peers. That’s something I have actively worked on. Charisma truly is a skill.

I agree with the points you made. I must say sometimes social groups will reject you on purpose regardless of these good tips. Bullying and social hierarchies are a real thing especially in American culture. I would add for men to not think of yourself as lesser if you don’t fit in a certain group: sometimes people are jerks no matter what.

Yes. I've found that sometimes the leader of a clique can find you threatening to their own charismatic dominance, so they'll reject you for that reason alone. But she gives good general advice on how to get along with decent and mature people.

Think of it this way. Frequently your purpose is to take the boring things people say and make them interesting. You do this well during the needed pauses on this channel. From a man who likes a hundred rewrites, I'm fascinated by trying to convey more than two ideas in short punchy formats. It's fun to use short simple words so even kids get a good, uncomplicated story. At the same time connecting with older groups through cloaked metaphor.

I'm already a storyteller. Currently writing one myself for beginners of Japanese. It's full-fledged, multi-chapter story with character development and the characters in this story are hand-drawn by myself and will be shown on social media for the project. Not to brag or anything but the story's turning out well even though I never studied literature. Just going off what little creative writing experience from high school and imagination. That's it.

Askin open ended questions is a huge one. Especially if you are more introverted. It will diminish the pressure that you might feel in carrying the conversation. I think its easy to be charismatic around people you trust or even in a one on one situation. I think it's harder to do when you are around people you don't necessarily know or feel comfortable around. My personal advice if you want to be charismatic in those unknown situations, you have to have a certain lvl of IDGAF what y'all think, Imma just be me and Imma be the me that's cool and funny around my friends. I think this lvl of charisma takes practice for most people.

Taking the first point about making others feel welcome and that you try to understand them and do understand them, we'll take that and let me ask you: how many international friends do you have? Most Americans don't seem to care where someone is from as long as they speak English and don't seem to care about learning at least a bit of their culture. Now I live in Canada and we also have a diverse population. The difference is that we tend to be more open-minded and even though I'm of Asian background, I've met people from all over. Combining all my time in school, I've met people from Japan, Korea, Spain, Greece, Scandinavia, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Brazil, Mexico, England, Bosnia, South America...I can go on. So you can understand that I've developed a curiosity in other cultures.

Warmth and Presence I have practice with. Dressing for success comes natural to me cause I really like to dress well. Metaphors and Storytelling is something I’m currently working on. I have gotten better thanks to comedians, and celebrities like Jamie fox and Kevin hart. They are great story tellers. I was filling up at a service station today. When I pulled my car into the service station, they were selling the regular 91 for $2.02 per liter. I parked my car, lifted the nozzle, but no fuel came. Then I heard the attendant yelling on the PA...customer at pump 15, please put the nozzle back so the system could update. I did that. The system updated. The price jumped to $2.40 per liter! I tried everything to stay calm, stay put and stay charsmatic, but when I went inside to pay, I could not help but be the opposite of everything I intended to be. Life's like that I guess. Then later in my mind, I did say sorry to the attendant...I hope she gets my apologies.

what do you do if you have a nice date and after it the woman responds to your texts but doesnt seem that enthused and you feel like you are pulling teeth? do some women just dont care and even if they like a guy they will never be proactive with him cause she knows she already has so many options . this happened to me. had a nice 3 hr call with a woman. we met up had like a 4 hr date. the date itself was nice but she was just quiet and kinda cold at the end of the date. i texted her a couple days after , told her i had fun and asked her about her weekend . she said it was ok and asked about mine but never said it was nice to meet me or even thank me for inviting her or buying her drinks . all my friends keep telling me to be persistent but i hate it when things feel 1 sided.

While I think charisma is something that you can learn, it undoubtedly comes easier to extroverts since they tend to have better social skills as extroverts thrive when they're constantly surrounded by others so they have more experience to practice. At the end of the day, it's something that needs to be honed over time, the more you do it, the more compelling you'll be able to convey yourself.

Hi Courtney I’ve a question 🙋‍♂️ Is it Best to share boundaries in a relationship mutually before knowing a person? If so How should I handle if I see my woman breaking those boundaries when getting to know her? Or Can I end the relationship if she’s repeatedly disrespectful to them?

You can't really list out all the boundaries you have before getting to know a girl. In early dating stages you can only demonstrate, not explicate that you have boundaries in general. If she's half an hour late for a date, leave. If she does something that's not cool, tell her "that wasn't cool, it made me feel XXXXX" and step back. You're not in a proper relationship yet (I hope you realize that) so don't ask for an apology, and don't tell her what she SHOULD be doing, she knows! Or if she doesn't she should be able to figure it out. And if she can't, SHE'S OUT. You don't owe her a relationship or an explanation if she's repeatedly disrespectful in fact you MUST step back. Frame and self respect is EVERYTHING! The only time to lay out boundaries more fully is when she asks for a relationship i.e. to be exclusive. Men, this is super important - it's the woman's ask, never the man's. I don't care how much you like a girl. She has to come to the table first. Why? Because this is where you actually have some power. Ask her, "just so I'm sure, what does a relationship mean to you? That I'm exclusive? That I'm not talking to any other exes or keeping other girls on the back burner? That I make time for you, especially intimacy?" See what I'm doing here? You don't ask the girl for ANYTHING, you ask what she wants from YOU so you can say genuinely YES or NO to her offer, but by implication what is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander so you are holding her to these standards also BUT YOU NEVER HAVE TO SAY SO! You need to frame things in this way because that way YOU'RE THE PRIZE that she has WON because you're giving up the single life for her. This makes you implicitly more attractive to her. The person of higher value is the one with more to give up in a relationship and she needs that person to be YOU (hypergamy) so frame things in that way. After that, if she oversteps boundaries by say, going out clubbing with girls too often, you simply WITHDRAW ATTENTION. It's the only power you really have over a woman. Then you see what happens. Does she come back to you with better behaviors, or does she repeat them? If things don't improve. NEXT!

@@Isaiah_writes_360 Good. The fundamental point is actions speak louder than words, both for her and especially you. You can't verbally negotiate desired behaviors with a woman, or desire itself for that matter. It's unattractive and low value. A valuable mental frame to have with women is to always ask yourself the question "if I had 100 women waiting to date me as well as this girl - how would I act?". Then just do that. If a girl disrespected you, you'd just politely NEXT her and talk to another one. You wouldn't get butthurt, who cares? They're lining up around the block for you. This works because women find this mindset attractive in a guy. Women want guys that other women want, or at least guys who are prepared to walk and go get another girl if they have to. That's basic abundance mindset. If you don't respect yourself she won't respect you. If she doesn't respect you then attraction and love can't happen.

Charisma is definitely something gained when you hit that point in life where you are comfortable talking to anyone and everyone because you become so magnetic that everyone wants to be around you. Ideally, in a perfect world, everyone would love you once you're charismatic. However, in actual practice, even politicians (the supposed pros at charisma 🙄), can't bat more than 50% consistently, and they're doing well to get those numbers. I would say, as long as you are well-regarded by the important people in your life, that's all the charisma most of us ever need. Sure, it helps to be more charismatic if you work in sales, are the founder of a company and need other people to buy-in to your ideas, or similar situations. But being genuinely trustworthy is far more important, for building long-term relationships.

There are sometimes when you're interacting with someone when they're talking to you about topics you don't know too much about and it can be hard to respond to them. If a man is talking to me about sports, which I don't know too much about, I don't know what to say sometimes. But if he were to talk about TV Shows, movies, books, managing money, or investing in stocks I can talk about it.

It just depends on the man. Some guys are not interested in watching sports at all, others only moderately so. Some people you just won't connect with, for whatever the reason, and that's perfectly OK.

It's not really your fault. If a guy can't connect to emotion when talking to a woman then the conversation is inherently boring for her. What you list is what you have knowledge and emotional investment in - so it's always going to be easier to connect that way. That's just the art of good conversation. You can steer the topics into this area and if he's smart he'll follow. And if he's not, is he the guy for you?

I know it's off subject but I need to know what you think about this. We have been talking to each other and everything seems very positive but she ask me if I had a driver license. I said no. I have decided 7 years ago to not renew my license. Now she wants me to go and renew my license. I basically said no. So now we have a barrier even though we have not met each other because I caught covid so we have to wait to meet. We have been ask a lot of questions and what we found out we are really the same. So now this barrier comes and creating problems and we did say to each other we will talk about it and see where it goes. Am I really doing something wrong about something I do not want to get that driver license.

Women like guys with Drivers Licenses, it really that simple. This one certainly does. I don't know why you're getting this far down into the weeds with someone you haven't even met yet but she's probably wanting to meet up but is worried about sustaining a relationship when one of you can't drive. Or she's worried you're reticent about other things also that she considers basic pre-requisites to a relationship. But if it's a big deal for you the flip side is you're just talking so you don't owe her anything. To me the most important thing right now isn't anything about bloody drivers licenses, it's about meeting up and seeing if there is real life attraction before you get into the weeds with things like this.

Charisma is a component of Attention / Attraction. If you are attractive - they will find you 'charismatic' If you are average - they will find you loud, bragadoucious, try hard. If you are less than average - they will find you creepy, rude, harassing. Play it as you will.

As an older gentleman I don't think a man has to jump through hoops or attempt to develop a style that he'll soon forget about due to his natural traits. I've seen dirtbags full of tatoos get hot girls. There's no secret formulas. You either connect with someone or you don't. Someone is attracted to you or they're not.
