I agree, and I bet it would have been better for the sisters' relationship if the married one had been more forthright. 13:30 Here’s the thing: there’s nothing wrong with having your ceremony at 5:30am as long as you KNOW that ppl will not be there and are OKAY WITH THAT at the end of the day you only get married once (…typically) and they can always have a late reception 🤷🏾♀️
@entroverse_ Жыл бұрын
honestly in order to make a wedding official you just need an officiant. they should get married just the three of them at the time, so they have it on paper and in pictures, then they can have an actual ceremony and reception at like noon or something
@daffodils.and.daisies9750 Жыл бұрын
Problem is too that the bride will have to have her hair and makeup done (presumably by a team of people) and same for the bridesmaids, not to mention the guests. So she wants a 5:30am start but that means she herself will have to get up earlier than that to get ready and whoever is doing her hair or her makeup will also have to turn up earlier to do that too. So basically she wants a 5:30am start time but then it ends up being like a 2am start for everyone cause I don’t think they’ve factored in how long it takes to get ready and organise things. I think they should just do a pre-wedding photo shoot or some sort of nice moment at sunrise that they can remember for themselves and then have the wedding later.
@KD_Oliveira Жыл бұрын
@@daffodils.and.daisies9750 but when it come to the staff workers (makeup artists and hairdressers, etc.) they are being paid for that. As long as they are being paid fairly for this job, there wouldn't be problematic have a private wedding for the couple and whoever guest with guts to wake up before sunrise, and then make another ceremony and reception later, just for the guests.
@cheesecake2048 Жыл бұрын
@@daffodils.and.daisies9750 I think I see what you're saying but my point is that nothing HAS to happen. The only people wo NEED to be at a wedding are the officiator and the people getting married. If you wanna have a wedding that early then sacrifices will need to be made (i.e. doing your own hair and makeup if you're not lucky enough to find someone willing to work that early, having no bridesmaids, etc,).
@journey7701 Жыл бұрын
@@cheesecake2048I think it can be boiled down to “do what you want but manage your expectations”. Even if she does somehow convince a whole wedding party and event organizers to show up stupid early, it would be unreasonable to expect people to be on top of everything and in a good mood at 5am. Also if the ceremony is super long you can’t be mad if your guests fall asleep during it 😂 Even as someone who isn’t a morning person I think it could be done well (having breakfast at the reception sounds pretty fun actually) but it would have to be small, intimate and somewhat casual.

For the wedding one solution could be, have the wedding at a “normal” time and then have everyone party through the night (or as late as they can handle) and have everyone stay the night if they want/can. And then, have everyone that stayed, wake up in the morning at sunrise to do something special. Like some extra vows or something. That way no one would have to really travel early in the morning or in the middle of the night. Also wouldn’t have to worry necessarily about getting ready and dressed up either.

I think the mother who left at her son's wedding has bad anxiety. The way she downplays the size of her problem, when she said I really don't like gatherings instead of I don't do well in gathers. I've seen people do unlikely stuff due to anxiety; spend a whole day preparing only to break down hard and refuse to go, locking self in the bathroom after reaching, not leaving the house. People with anxiety often feel embarrassed, so I guess that's why she doesn't mention it. Anyway, I think extreme anxiety is hard to graspe, it doesn't make a lot of sense, but when you see it consistent, you realize that it's a problem.

Leaving your son’s wedding is wild fr tho like how do you think thats ok?? And for the sunrise wedding couple, just do further north and do a winter wedding, sunrise with peaceful snow at like 9 am = perfection!
@OrionArts87 Жыл бұрын
Okay but how could the person who left her son's wedding possibly even question wether or not it is okay?! As a person who gets extremely overwhelmed when it comes to stuff like big crowds and loud noises, I would still NEVER leave someone's wedding right after the ceremony, let alone my child's. And the fact that there was even a mother-son dance planned and she STILL LEFT is honestly so irritating to me.
@isellnarcotics Жыл бұрын
TYY THISS It's honestly crazy how you just get up and walk out your son's wedding, and even have the audacity to call ur son, on quite literally the biggest day of his life, not to apologise but to say his wife has a temper like.
@OrionArts87 Жыл бұрын
@@isellnarcoticsYES like I would have a temper to if you're doing that to my partner, how could I not? The fact that this mom doesn't even realize her mistake is ridiculous.
@pearlcnrd10 ай бұрын
Its kind of crazy how people who obviously do not have as severe of a case of possible social anxiety or even panic disorder are invalidating someone elses experience because it's not like yours specifically. It should make you wonder, do you actually have trouble in these situations or are you just looking for attention because there is nothing interesting about you? I apologise I meant to say, were you misdiagnosed? Do you hear how dumb I fucking sound invalidating your experience because it is not as severe or the same as other peoples, or you react differently to other people?
@OrionArts8710 ай бұрын
@@pearlcnrd I'm sorry you felt the need to try and insult me over this (saying I'm not interesting and looking for attention and all). Personally, I interpret this situation as the mom doing an a-hole move because she does not mention whatsoever that she has any kind of anxiety or panic disorder, just that she dislikes social gatherings, which yeah, I can understand that and it's completely fine but not an excuse. If she did mention that she had some kind of disorder (which as a person diagnosed by a therapist and a doctor with an anxiety disorder, I would, because it would be a key part to the story) then I would understand why she would have to leave. But, even then if I were in that situation, which I have had to leave events or go somewhere else to calm down, I would explain why I had to leave (which if she had said anything like that to the son or his wife, I'd assume they would not be mad because a super high level of anxiety would be a valid excuse), apologize for not being able to be there at an important moment, and I would NOT insult my husband's new wife. And also, if the mom did have a disorder, I think there's a high chance at least one person in her close family would know, and that would probably be her son. So with the given information, and experience, no I do not think she had any kind of disorder that would have been so bad, she would've completely skipped out on something that important to her child of all people. If she does, then it most likely would've been mentioned because like I said, that's an important part to the story. The point is: Yes, if the story happened exactly as it's told, she's an asshole. She left before the son and mother dance, something that was most like very important to him, with not much of a valid excuse mentioned in the story and then insulted his wife when she was called out for it. My problem isn't that she left early, but she KNEW that there was going to be dance, other people probably knew there was going to be a dance, and she likely knew it was important to her son but still left anyways.

It’s also different if someone has like SEVERE social anxiety and doesn’t feel comfortable. In that case it’s a little more understandable. that being said, there didn’t seem to be any reason for that guy to leave other than just feeling “uncomfortable” and on their wedding no less!

I’m mixed on the teacher one. I feel like she wasn’t wrong on how she felt, but she went about it the wrong way. Her ripping up the students test was doing too much, but in all fairness she did give them a forewarning on what she’d do if she caught them cheating.

I feel like the 5:30am wedding thing is why having a huge wedding is not for everyone. If you have a lot of people coming to your wedding, you do need to make accommodations that are comfortable or at least tolerable for most of your guests. If you just have very close friends and family coming, then you can do it exactly how you want it and hopefully the people closest to you will just grumble and show up. It is your wedding and you deserve to have it as you want it because it’s about your love and your union. BUT if that’s the case, extended friends and family are probably not the people you want to be inviting. If you want it to be that intimate and meaningful to the point where it’s a huge inconvenience for other people, you gotta make it small and intimate because 200 people are not about to come to your 5am wedding…

I love picking my scabs. It's just so satisfying when you get your nail under it and just pick or flick it off or when its a softer one that you can peel off. It's especially satisfying when they don't start bleeding, no mess, just clean scab picking, but when they do bleed it's quite exciting as well, cause that means new scabs to pick in a couple of days. I conveniently get a lot of small skin scratches on my arms and legs from my job, which involves unboxing items and putting them on the shelves in the store I work in. A lot of the time I don't even notice the scabbed wound until I randomly scratch my arm or my legs and accidentally pick a scab. The best feeling in the world.

I am appalled at the father who left his son's wedding early. Yes, I understand that you may not be comfortable with social events and gatherings, BUT, this is probably one of the most important and happiest days of your son's life and he would want the people he loves the most to be around him that day and you can't understand that. Also, its one day, just one day, like you can't make a sacrifice for your son and stick around for one day?!

Idk bro about the second story I relate to the lady so much. I hate when I'm somewhere with a big amount of people and loud music ssssmmmmmm to the point that I probably won't host a wedding nor attend the weddings of anyone I know. If I stayed somewhere like that I'd probably get really uncomfortable quickly and everyone won't know how to interact with me so they'll just leave me alone so I'd rather just leave or not attend.
