Very true. They change SO MUCH 🤯 each time I saw my new niece she had change the equivalent of an adult through 10-20 years. I nearly didn’t recognize her and felt like the worst aunt in the world 😅 (granted there was about 4 little girls there at the big reunion and they were all around the same age (summer babies) so yeah, after about 6-7 months it was a bit difficult, having only seen her once or twice when she was 1 and 2 months old 😅)

That toxic lesbian relationship one is something nobody will understand unless they’ve been in a toxic relationship. The amount of control they have over you without you even realizing, for years after you’re even split up for good.
@godofchaos9571 Жыл бұрын
Honestly. I've been in some toxic friendships (which are obviously different than toxic relationships) and the other person has SO much control over you.
@5210smile Жыл бұрын
Came here to say this. The toxicity doesn't end until/unless there's a clean break.
@Namicat19 Жыл бұрын
I haven’t interacted with my abuser for almost a decade and even with therapy there are still things I do that started because of that relationship that affect my current relationships. It changes who you are and it’s so so difficult to change back to who you were before and to get away from how it affects you both in how you act and how you think.
@jenmiranda13 Жыл бұрын
I haven't really experienced a toxic relationship. I have interacted with a toxic guy who I was willing to be friends with but he was clingy. And I was in a healthy romantic relationship at the time which should've made it clear to him that I can't be overly affectionate (I'm not even the affectionate type yet he was clingy and victimized himself so much that it was his whole personality). My bf at the time also told me that something was off (he wasn't the jealous type. He straight up said that if he thought I was cheating or if I didn't love him anymore, we'd break up. We ended things on good terms not because we didn't love each other but because of personal circumstances) Anyway, I was fortunate to not have been affected negatively by that toxicity. It did affect me but in a positive way. I'm non-confrontational but it's thanks to him that I know I'm not a complete doormat since I cut him off the moment I tried asking him something and he got defensive for no reason and proceeded to victimize himself. At that point, I was angry, told him that he'd never have friends if he keeps pushing them away by acting like that and then I lost contact with him. Overall, he was a coward. He picks fights with people but cowers away when someone fights back 😅

Damn that's actually scary. I was thinking why she is even bothering talking to her, let alone give her money. Nah throw away the ex and the friends and family who supported her.

The most important statement about having a baby - ‘if you know you’re about to have to take care of a baby, take care of yourself first’. If the nursery is unfinished, it’s okay. If family is being pushy tell them to leave. No point in stressing yourself out beforehand more than you already are!

I recently went through a tough breakup. My 7 year relationship ended a month ago, and it's been really hard for me. I still love my ex so much and can't stop thinking about him. I've tried everything to win him back, but nothing has worked. It's frustrating, and I can't imagine being with anyone else. I've been trying to move on, but I can't seem to get him out of my mind. I know it might sound strange to share this here, but I miss him a lot and just can't stop thinking about him.

I understand the pain of letting go of someone you love. I went through a similar situation when my 12 year relationship ended. According to my mother, when I was born, she was told to push to break her water. My head came with it. Evidently, I was born so quickly that the doctor didn't have time to scrub up and delivered me while wearing a kashmir sweater. In my mother's words "he didn't deliver you, all he did was catch." Due to the fact that I was my mother's first child and quickness of my birth, I dropped down my mother's bladder and tore stuff on the way out. She delivered me with no painkillers of any kind (and repeated this 13 months later with my brother). After my birth she had to be "sewn back up" and was biting her hand. The hand my father decided to hold. Obviously, my mother bit him as she was, y'know, being sewn up after pushing a whole ass human out of her with no painkillers, and not exactly paying attention to which hand my father was holding. Wanna guess what my father brings up every time my birth is referenced? "Your mom bit me!" He has done this for 35 years now. My parents are still married.
