Why is it so that the guards are fast enough to intervene when a victim's family member tries to attacks the convict, but not quite when a convict tries to attack the judge ? Levels of stupidity
@MrBorndd4 ай бұрын
Family members of a victim usually sit at a greater distance from the defendant, with several guards positioned between the audience and the defendant. This makes it relatively easier for guards to anticipate an attack from the public. In contrast, the judge is seated closer to the defendant, meaning the defendant can strike more quickly and with less warning. Guards are trained to primarily monitor potential threats from the audience because that's where most surprise attacks are expected to come from. A defendant standing before the judge is often perceived as less threatening, especially if they are in custody and restrained. This can lead to a moment of underestimation when a defendant suddenly lashes out at the judge.
@MagguillZ4 ай бұрын
@@MrBorndd And why are the defendants' hands not tied behind the back ?
@MrBorndd4 ай бұрын
@@MagguillZ Defendants' hands are typically not tied behind their backs in a courtroom for several reasons. In many legal systems, defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Having their hands tied behind their backs could create a visual impression of guilt, which could unfairly prejudice the jury, judge, or others in the courtroom against the defendant. Tying a defendant's hands behind their back can be seen as a violation of their dignity and rights. Courts aim to treat all individuals, including those accused of crimes, with a certain level of respect and humanity.

@@mykhailohohol8708 They could simple say they need the address so they can send help rather than telling clearly distressed people to calm down. How many times in your life has being told to calm down actually work and not make things worse?

@@sad_sunshine0810 perhaps she had other questions/instructions to give and for that she needs the caller to calm down. I assume if she says that, then she was instructed to tell people that in distressing situations, because that's the best thing one can say.
