Thats something I hate about basketball. Everyone trash talking like they were michael jordan or smth while they are not even in a real professional team (yet) . Like a wise man once said : « Stay humble,eh »

The parents of the little kids, Omg!!! Are we seriously acting like that. Those people see their child as a paycheck for sure!! Your teaching your kids it’s ok to have zero respect. Shame on you parents.

That's exactly why Jokic, Doncic, Giannis, Embiid and now Wemby and ect foreign players have all been the top mvps the last 7 or so years. Because they don't do this aau crap over there where they come from. Thier kids and parents are all about just basketball overall and especially fundamentals and the overall nuances and aspects that the kids and parents of aau over here in America don't care about or ever focus on. They focus way more on a brand and creating an image and social media accounts and how many followers and subscribers that they can gain and curate. And the parents want to become coaches and agents and a part of it all while living vicariously through thier kids and literally get in the way of thier kid's growth. The parents want as much of the spotlight as they can. And then they build these aau "superteams" so thier kids can look as good as possible by purposely playing against less superior teams on most days and so thier kids can score 70 points in a game by launching 40 point 3s by ball hogging the ball and then playing zero defence....which is why that most of the biggest names in aau and with the biggest followings go on to become nothing in basketball later on in life when the talent of thier peers catches up to them and gets spread out. Because they can't carry teams on thier own once they get into real basketball scenes and scenarios once they are in leagues where the highest level of talent is spread around if they actually make it to the D1 level or the NBA....where there's going to be actual defense now and you aren't on a super team anymore. Then they just end up in the youtube basketball and cretaor scene as youtube and online ballers. But overseas it's the exact opposite of here...when kids here in aau are playing against little kids and chucking up 40-50ft 3s.....the foreigners overseas are playing against grown men and in grown men professional leagues as teenagers and it's toughening them up and showing them how to play real basketball and with all of the fundamentals and nuances. That's why Lamelo ball literally regressed with his dad.....and then finally leveled up again and got to the level that he's at today once he finally got away from Lavar and he went overseas. But back to the foreigners....they will still be the top mvps (and Jokic is for sure clearly already the mvp again and way before the halfway mark of the season, mind you) until they get rid of the aau and start taking the youth game serious again and start playing actual basketball....so that way when it comes time for thier kids to play actual basketball....that they can play actual basketball when that time comes.

All I saw was a complete lack of professionalism. This is why viewership is down. Noone is teaching these kids how to be professional and respect the game. Refs need to start throwing out techs like Oprah gave out gifts and start throwing kids out of the games. Don't care who is in attendance, who their parents are or what their rank is.
@Cilent__

They was having fist fights with each other and fans in the NBA during the 80s and 90s. That's professionalism? Lmao. People that analyze basketball for a living aren't even sure why viewership is down, but you think you know? 😂. Stop it. Go sit down somewhere Dunning Kruger.
