The band member was named Oz Osbourne, not Ozzy. Ozzy got that name in his youth. Black Sabbath took the name from the english title of an italian horror movie.(I tre volti della paura from 1963). It's a funny coincidence though.

Incredible, one may think that just Black Sabbath started to deal with the satanic stuff, then you have Venom and Mercyful Fate and then Bathory and later the so called Black Metal. This is great even COVEN doing the horns-hand way before Dio (telling that he was doing the Maloquio sign) and after a fight with Kiss' Gene Simmons about who was supposed to introduce the horns into rock 'n ' roll...Great band really, I just discovered them.
