So sad to hear our former coach, Nathan Jones has been sacked at Southampton, but like I commented on many social platforms Nathan has no experience of Premiership League Management, and he will get Southampton relegated. It would have been far better for him to have stayed at Luton Town, as I believe he would eventually have taken us to the "Promised Land" of Premiership football. As much as I love Nathan for all the good times, and I forgave him for his short stay at Stoke City, I doubt if any loyal, faithful, worldwide Luton fan would have him back again at the 'Kenny'. I think he will possibly be given another chance with another Championship side or League One outfit! As for Luton, another point..... Onwards and Upwards for Luton and Robbie. Awesome away support yet again. Ciao from Badger in 🇮🇹!!! 🙏

I can see him turning up at Wrexham in a couple of months.

Disappointed to hear about Nathan as we (LTFC) could have benefitted financially had he done better. But most of us said in November that it was probably not a wise-move for him. He jumped onto a runaway train at both Stoke and Southampton. He is not the kind of manager to 'put-out-fires' as everyone at Luton will know. He had a couple of years with us before we got out of League Two. Those who remember those days will remember how he said he wished to build a team good enough for the Championship and how he compared us to Northampton whose team at that time had 'been together' for a couple of seasons. Both the Stoke move and the Southampton move could have derailed OUR season when we were in League One and now. But it didn't. Not many managers do well at Stoke, how many have they had now and they are still in the bottom half of the league. Gerrard and Lampard also failed as managers at their respective Prem clubs and they had EPL experience. Nathan's next job should be with an ambitious League One or League Two team who want success and who will allow him time to build.

Nathan Jones left Luton twice for apparently greener grass. Difficult for any manager to turn down the opportunity to manage at a division higher (Stoke at the time) and in the EPL, and for much, much more money. The most money on offer might not necessarily be the best move in the medium to long term, though. Loyalty to a club and long term project does sometimes pay off eg Eddie Howe who went with Bournemouth from L2 to EPL. Clapped to the rafters by Bournemouth fans on Saturday when he returned with Newcastle. Fans remember! Mark Hughes has managed at the highest level, but is now at Bradford in L2. Nathan Jones should not be “too proud” to follow his fellow Welshman at the same level or in L1, if the project is right. But next time stay the course, or at least not bail out mid-season!

Suppose it's a good point for the Hatters. Just noticed Nathan Jones has been sacked at Southampton. I said when he went,he would be sacked before the end of the season.I also stated he could have had a job for life at Luton. Poor Nathen,Scewed up at Stoke as well. The grass is not always greener on the other side. We don't need or want him back ,again.

Nathan Jones should reflect on what Eddie Howe did as manager of then League 2 Bournemouth: “In November 2009, Championship club Peterborough United approached Howe to replace Darren Ferguson as their manager but Howe rejected their approach.” Sport BBC, 2009. Howe got 3 promotions to the Premier League. And look at Eddie Howe today. Nathan Jones is a very good manager. But sometimes it is worth seeing a project through… and not jumping ship mid-season… twice!

Pointless red card - deserved it totally . Silly 1st minute goal to concede . Cov been rubbish since World Cup - end season now .

As a Hatter, I've got quite a soft spot for Cov, being from Southam in my childhood, I still have friends who are Cov fans. To be honest, in both matches this season, we could well have lost them. It was a silly challenge to get a red card but you've got a top manager, Cov have a difficult squad to play against. They are on a similar budget to Luton and I think they are doing pretty well given all the disruption with ground sharing/ground unavailability.

Ffs, it’s a good point against a good team who are battling for playoffs this season, and they have a good away record, yet all you can do is be negative. Yes, our form has been quite poor since the World Cup return, but tbf, we did beat WBA and Huddersfield at home, should’ve beaten Swansea, and deserved at least a point out of Reading away. We’ve also played WBA and Burnley away, both really tough games, Norwich at home isn’t easy either. It’s not as bad as you think, we just need a better run of games and more confidence, and we’ll win again, the signs are promising, we battle hard for points and we’ve had injuries as well. Once everyone is back and the fixtures get easier, we’ll win again and things will look good.

I’m a Coventry fan and tbf, I quite like Luton, I’ve been to your ground, it was a great day out, good atmosphere, your team played so well that day and your ground has a charming, old school vibe about it, definitely has some character. That was in December 2018 back when you were in league one, it was Fleetwood at home. I’ve been to Luton a few times, so I have a bit of a connection to the place and I’ve personally always enjoyed going there. If we (Coventry) don’t somehow sneak into 6th, I’d love it if Luton did, your rise from the 5th tier has been fantastic to see, the club is run well and I only have good memories of going there, so good luck, hope you get playoffs if we don’t.

I might be throwing myself under the bus here, but I think it's time to bench Adebayo. He's too slow and spends most of his time on the deck. He has no centre of gravity and looks like a Giraffe on ice sometimes. The only saving grace is he's good at headers in the box.
