Careful, throwing quarters around might result in a cracked or broken window, or losing quarters.

Love the guitar parts, is there a software you use to record the instruments and mix the song? Just curious.
@3OrMoreBones4 жыл бұрын
I used to use garageband. Now, I use Ableton as a slave for Reaper. Mixing, I used a different vst called [loudmax] to control dynamics. I have a subtle mix of [vahalla supermassive] to blend all the different timbres to the same "room" to speak. I used to master everything with [ozone 8], but learned what the AI was doing, tweaked that, and used the built in plugins to great effect. I then tested it through my headphones, stereo system, and cell phone. Made the mix sound decent on all three, and then mixed it one last time through the big speakers.

Third update, little progress has been made. Resulted tutorial videos gave me little insight into what was being played, so I might make something up like them to fill in the gaps of mesh deemed unidentifiable from my ear.

Not a composer or anything, but i wanted to say: some parts of the song were nice, but i feel like you're throwing stuff into the mix and it came out all messy yknow? I'm not saying it was bad but at times some of the different tracks interjected in (ie 0:32 to 0:48) and it came out as a garbled mess. Just throwing my 2cents here i guess.
@3OrMoreBones4 жыл бұрын
I appreciate the input. It's all in the nature of finding out the musical boundaries of coherence from a stereo field. Soon one day, I hope to have the ability to load music in a surround sound format which would promote stuff to not be as messy. Looking back on it, there were a few things that went "overboard" but often times we mainly see that overboard scenario in the realms of jazz. Regardless, hoped you enjoyed.

It was quite a journey alright, i wish you the best of luck in improving your crafts
