This cow dung which you keep in the middle is trasported to plants through roots with the passage of time,that logic is good and i appreciate it. My question is,what about M9 plantation,how far can we keep cow dung or sheep waste in such plantation? I live in Kashmir and here we usually have around 2 feet average snow in my side,so what cover crops are advisable for me? Thanks for waking me up.

Each pile of cow manure Could placed between two rows at 5 feet distance in HDP Plantation. Yes. If you grow brassicas ( mustard radish) will reduce scab disease. Grow it in sep oct.

No it’s a good cover crop but the problem is the seed is not indigenous. We need desi seeds and cover crop must a mix of 3-4 different species. Cabbage is from brassicas family so we need to add alfalfa and oats etc in winters to cover the soil.

Sir cover crop lagane ke liya soil ko till karna pdega or jis se microorganisms ke network kharab ho jayege. Aap kese karte h cover cropping jis se network khatab na ho necha. Or agar me sep me cover crop laga lun or march-sep me mulch sheet daal dun uspe to sahi rhega ya parali hi achi h mulching ke liya. Kya nuksaan karegi mulching sheets.

There is another video on selective tilling. Please check it out on this channel. Mulching sheets work fine and doesn’t have side effects but they don’t increase soil carbon. But it always depends upon availability of products so of course ypu can do that. Thanks.
