Love your videos. I have a small market garden I have been using cover crops to build soil organic matter for a few years now. Not saying what you are doing is wrong just what I would have done. In the situation you have. I would have broadcast mustard cover crop first then plant the cow peas with an earth way seeder keep the peas in rows about 6 inches apart. The my reason for the mustard is it comes up really fast the cow peas are in my situation slow this time of year zone 5b and don’t put on a lot of growth. The mustard will get you a decent cover . I also have problems with wire worms after potatoes. I don’t have many problems the year I grow potatoes it’s always the year after. Tilling in mustard gets rid of them or at least knocks them back to normal . Cilantro also works well If I have a bed that has had potatoes in it I have to grow cilantro or mustard before carrots or they get destroyed. Thank for the great video

way to technical, I would just add 30% more seed and spread once I know the lb's.

Yes that was the point. You can do all the planning in the world, and then out in the field you get a different result. The great thing is using the math you can calibrate your cone spreader, drop seeder, etc.
