Shawn, many reactors have been attacked by trolls accusing them of pre-watching videos and “pretending” to react to them. Don’t let them get to you. You keep doing what you do, because those of us who are enjoy your reactions know you are genuine. Knowing of a group’s existence doesn’t mean a certain video has been seen. Also, once you start seeing more and more PTX Christmas music, it’s likely you have already heard some of it because of holiday play in a lot of stores and radio stations. It happens, and we get that not everything can be truly spoiler free. Your channel truly has become a rabbit hole for me due to your coverage of everyone that I enjoy, PTX, Superfruit, Home Free and Voctave. You’ve also begun adding other items for us to enjoy. Love the video Shawn, as always. Us loyal viewers are with you all the way, please never forget that. For more Chance content, I know others have suggested plenty of HF stuff, so here’s other stuff. He’s collaborated twice with a beautiful husband and wife duo called The Hound + The Fox. He plays guitar alongside the husband, Reilly, in a cover of Hurt by Johnny Cash. (Reilly’s wife is called McKenzie, and because their names are both unisex it took me a very long time to work out who’s who. But I still don’t know which of them is The Hound and which of them is The Fox!) Chance is also featured in their cover of The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire). And isn’t that a long title! The Hound + The Fox have also collaborated with Tim Foust in a cover of We Three Kings. And a collab with Tim’s wife Jenika in a cover of Winter Song. And with Peter Hollens many times, my favourite being God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen. And now I need to rewatch that one 😉. And when you eventually get to Home Free’s cover of Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer, The Hound + The Fox appear with a cameo in the video. They’re all really good friends 😊

I absolutely adore Home Free. They have amazing voices but might I suggest that you check out "Losing You" by Chris Botti featuring Vince Gill. Vince Gill has one of the purest, most beautiful, most soulful tenor voices I have ever heard. Well worth the listen!

HI Shawn! I am an oldie and seem to have gotten to be OCD about some things. I am on a lot of prescribed medication for pain and other things and, because I have some mild dementia and I forget things fairly frequently, I place each pill in my 4 dose-a-day carrier in a precise position so I can tell if I left one out. All that just to say I have also OCD'd on Home Free, The Sacred Riana and some other KZbin content. I recently found your reactions to Home Free, et al, and subscribed almost from the first ones. You seem to be almost as entertaining as the people you react to (yeah, dangling participles are a specialty of mine). About the hate stuff, it seems that with the internet and social media, no one fully escapes it. Many of us who have been recipients of it have learned to just ignore it. I know Twitter is different than comments on videos, but I thought I would share something with you that might help, at least a tiny bit. While watching a reaction to Peter Hollen and Tim Faust doing "Misty Mountain" I paused long enough to look at the comments. Lo and behold, about halfway down the page there was a comment saying "Tim Faust is pretty good with the deep growl notes, but is just an average singer otherwise!" Not another commenter, nor the reactor posted any kind of response, neither as a reply, nor as a separate comment. I suspect the hater that posted that was feeling pretty bad that his comment got no response at all. I was proud of the other commenters as well as the reactor for just ignoring that. Also, the troll gave absolutely no credentials that would validate his comment. I was tempted to say I had a Master's in Music from Julliard, but managed to bite my tongue and take a cue from all the other commenters. I am glad I found your comments and have subscribed!

I'm sorry about the trolls. This was a cover of Jason Isbell's song Cover Me Up. This was a very special song for Chance & Sami in the start of their relationship and he proposed on the 2 year anniversary of them getting together. He had previously been engaged to a medical student. She is seen in their White Christmas video, but Sami was already working with Home Free in behind the scenes filming even while Chance was with the other girl (whose name I can't remember). Sami did all the filming of Chance's part for this video. Sami thought they were doing something cute for instagram so she was shocked by the proposal. HF's Die a Happy Man video is sort of the same thing for Tim's proposal for Jenika. But only of my favourites (along with Summer in the Country) is Some Girls Do where Chance also sings lead and includes Sami. All the best Shawn!

It's so sad when people have nothing better to do with their time and energy than to pull other people down. I'm very grateful to people like you, who've chosen to do something positive with your time instead. Home Free always bring me joy, and I love your reactions to them. Whereas Tim and Austin are song-writers, Chance is has been involved in directing or at least planning a number of their videos - and this was obviously very special to him. Even if I could functionally understand Twitter properly I too have taken a break from it because I can't handle mean comments people leave under original tweets. A nasty, mean reply in the "conversation" (? I think that's what it's called?) under someone's original tweet gets me so upset I just can't seem to ignore it and instead I go off on the mean person. I don't like that I do that. I have done the same thing in Instagram.. and mean comments in KZbin get me all riled up too. 😔 I don't like seeing cruel comments.. and I love that your channel is so fun and full of happy energy from your subscribers. I'm SO sorry that you got yourself a hater. That is hurtful and you don't deserve it. Nobody does.. but I mean, you're such a nice, fun guy and MY weekly obsession is waiting for you to upload Pentatinix or Sup3rfruit stuff. I'm glad you enjoy other groups and react to their material too! Your subscribers enjoy their favorite groups being reacted to as much as I enjoy ptx stuff.
