승관입니다.
지난 2019년 겨울에 들려드렸던 'Love poem' 이후로,
이번에는 태연 선배님의 '너를 그리는 시간'이라는 곡으로 오랜만에 혼자서 커버곡을 들려드립니다.
커버 프로젝트를 하면 할수록
저에게도 어느새 많은 책임감과 약간의 부담감이 생기는 것 같습니다.
저희 세븐틴의 곡들과는 달리
혼자서 곡 전체를 끌고 가야 하고,
너무나 훌륭한 원곡이 존재하기에 조금이나마 제가 누를 끼치고 싶지 않은 마음도 있어서 그런 것 같습니다.
그런 마음에서 이번 태연 선배님의 '너를 그리는 시간'은
저에게 너무나 큰 의미가 있는,
처음 들었을 때의 벅찬 감동이 잊혀지지 않는 곡입니다.
노래를 듣고 연습하면 할수록 곡의 가사와 멜로디가
저를 사랑해주는 모든 캐럿들에게 위로를 받는 기분이었습니다.
그래서 다짐했던 게 제가 부른 노래로 제가 느꼈던 이 행복감을 꼭 전해드리고 싶었습니다.
이 곡을 더 좋은 완성도로 커버 할 수 있게 응원해주고 도움 많이 주신 태연 선배님, 그리고 더운 날 수고해주신 모든 스태프분들 감사드립니다.

u should check his cover of love poem by IU and his k.will cover, his osts such as kind of love (kdrama mother), the reason (lovestruck in the city drama), go (record of youth drama), sweetest thing (chocolate drama-its one of my fav osts ever) and check svt bside track called same dream, same mind, same night or just search same3x seventeen from your choice album. His voice literally insane!!! Plus "say yes" by seungkwan and Dk. BTW if u don't know, he also survived till 3rd round in King of mask singer along with dk (which is rare for idols to reach 3rd round) 💕💎 and svt literally all rounders group. They won in immortal song etc heheheh. All members including their main dancers and main rappers can sing very well! You won't regret for checking them out ✨

I've been a fan of taeyeon, iu, chen and ft island hong ki for a long time, so I have a high expectation when it comes to vocal. When I saw the insta story of taeyeon I listen to it, all I can say is, this man has a future in the industry. Can his agency/entertainment give him a solo, he's a soloist material. His voice literally insane!!! Plus "say yes" by seungkwan and Dk. This man Loves To Sing. I guess that might be obvious, but like.... truly. The passion he has for what he does, the dedication he has put toward his craft, the mastery he has over his voice... I teared up listening to him and watching this because I couldn't stop thinking about Seungkwan saying lightly but with so much conviction in TTT 2021, "I want to sing." I can't do his talent enough justice by saying he's amazing. Like, yes, his vocals are incredible and I'm constantly awed by how his singing voice continues to develop such depth and control over time -- he sounds like he's been singing for 30+ years already and he's not even 25 yet. But I can't so easily describe how it feels to listen to the *soul* he puts into his voice. This man was born to sing and he embraces it full-heartedly. Every time we get to see him perform all-out like this, it feels like witnessing someone's life change. Like seeing someone achieve something they've been working for for years, and also seeing someone set a new goal for themself. I'll never get tired of immersing myself in this dude's voice, especially when he does these powerful ballads. I hope Taeyeon sees this!

honestly I'm not a fan of seventeen but my friend (she's a carat) suggested me to listen to this, I'm really picky when it comes to covers of taeyeon's songs because I've been her fan for so long and I love her music but seungkwan did a really god job covering this song, his voice is soft and smooth but he knows when to add more power and I really felt his emotions through the song, I'm glad I listened to this

Same. He did a really good job. It's hard to cover Taeyeon's songs and tbh some covers doesn't give justice to the song that's why sones are really picky when other idols cover her songs but this cover is beautiful. Seungkwan's and Sejeong's Taeyeon covers are some of the best I've heard.
