승관아 나두 비슷한 시기에 비슷한 이유로 12년 친구를 떠나보내고 많은 생각을 했어. 친구의 힘든 날들을 모른 채 웃고 있었을 내가 미웠고, 힘이 되어 주지 못해 미안했고, 미안하다는 마음조차 가질 수 있는 건지 의심스러웠고, 한 번이라도 미리 연락했다면 다른 오늘이 있지 않았을까 후회했어. 70,80대 사이에 있는 25살이 너무 이질적이라서, 영정사진이 없어 대체한 증명사진 속 얼굴이 너무 어려서 실감이 잘 안 났어 근데 그것보다도 그 애가 점점 더 내 마음 속에서 사라질 거라는 게 너무 두려워서, 언젠가 이 마음이 무디고 무뎌져서 오늘의 토요일이 비로소 나에게 아무렇지 않은 토요일이 될까 봐 무서웠어. 나는 언젠가 이 마음을 이 아픔을 그리고 그 아이를 잊게 되겠다 싶어서. 아침에 일어나면 하늘은 파랗고 날은 춥고 하루는 똑같이 흘러가는데, 걔는 이 하루를 더이상 살 수 없다는 게 너무 생소하고 마음이 이상한 거야 사는 건 주로 힘들고 자주 지치지만 가끔 행복하고 종종 보람된 마음에 사는 거라고 생각했는데, 어차피 평생을 이렇게 줄곧 힘들고 단비 같은 기쁨에 산다면 왜 살아야되나 싶은 마음이 들었어 그러다가 네 노래를 듣게 됐어 원래 동그란 사람에겐 세상이 참 모나 그래도 되는 줄 알고 막 뾰족뾰족해 나도 내 친구도 너도 네 친구도 세상 때문에 아픈 걸 보면 참 동그란 사람들 같애 그래도 우리 찔려도 다시 잘 살아보자 찔리고 아파도 잘 이겨내보자 동그라단 건 어쩌면 가장 강한 거니까 나는 오늘 하늘을 보며 잘 살겠노라 다짐을 했어 많은 경험을 하고 다양한 성취를 하기로 했어 사랑도 하고 나누고 베풀고 그러기로 했어 70년이 지난 후에 다시 만났을 때 이런 저런 이야기를 많이 가져가야 할 것 같아서 그리고 가끔 새벽 내내 떠오르던 그 웃는 얼굴을 생각하기로 했어 기억하고 그리워하지만 슬퍼하진 않기로 했어 네 노래 덕분에 나는 다시 잘 살아보기로 했어 나는 위로가 받고 싶은 순간에 네 노래를 들으면 되지만 너에겐 내 위로를 전해줄 수 있는 방법이 없어서 읽을지 모를 댓글을 남겨 우리 친구들과 봄이 되면 꽃으로 만나자 눈이 안 오는 날에 따뜻하게 인사하자 승관아 자주 행복해

every one in a while, i find myself back to this cover. of course, it makes me melancholic but it is comforting because here, i can let out my feelings. if this cover is a person, it is someone i can lean on and cry on their shoulder all the while being my listener as i share my happiest moments with the person i miss. thank you so much seungkwan for singing this song, for creating this montage, and most importantly for loving binnie so much. if i miss him, you must miss him more. i'm just ur carat and bin's roha that you don't know or haven't met my boo, but i hope with this message it can give you strength. i'm happy that these days you're very lively and i wish that you will always be happy. take care seungkwannie and know this caratroha loves u so much!

바쁘디 바쁜 스케줄 소화 속에서 캐럿들에게 선물해줄 커버곡을 틈날때마다 연습한뒤 직접 집에서 녹음해주고 영상 편집까지 해준 이 뿌랑둥이 효자귤을 어찌 안 사랑하겠어요..그저 열렬히 사랑하고 아껴주는 수밖에요ㅠㅠ

The first time I watched this cover, I wasn't able to process my emotions well because I was running late for school ehe but I got to watch it again and I got to see how comforting and how much I needed this cover. Before I was a Carat, I was an Aroha. Astro was my gateway to the KPOP world and I've always cherished them. It was Always them no matter what. As I grew up and gotten busier with life, I was not able to be as an active Roha which was regretful especially in 2023. Last year was indeed a hellish year for two main reasons. One, Astro celebrated their 7th anniversary. As we all know, there is the 7 yr curse but I had a strong belief that they would stay as 6 but 5 days after their anniversary, a member left the group. and since them I am the proudest Carat. Before I had a hard time smiling but my 13 gave me enough to smile again. It's wonderful how SVT and Astro have similar bonds maybe that's why I love them both so much. It is really true that you didn't discover SVT late but when you needed them the most and it was when I was in my dark world grieving. So with this cover, it was as if my two worlds has come together and patched up the remaining wounds I had because I have both my stars and my diamonds to go on with my life. I've been listening to this song a lot lately. This is very comforting to me. on difficult and joyless days, when I am overcome by dark thoughts, I always think about this song. Seungkwan's voice is so warm and soothing and it feels like you're being hugged by a loved one.
