Fun fact: When the violinist and guitarist are trading solos, the guitarist is playing what is keyboard parts in the original 🤘

Violinist Jill graduated at the top of her class from Tokyo University of the Arts. In other words, she is one of the high level violinists in Japan. If she had entered the world of classical music, she would probably be borrowing a Stradivarius right now to perform with orchestras around the world.

Fun Fact: They are a independent band, no label, nothing, they do and paid for everything. So the popularity is not that huge even though the band go for 13 years. KZbin made them get a lot of attention outside of japan in the last 3 to 4 years.

They've been getting attention through KZbin for ten years, as far as I know. I say that because there are people like myself who are into video games and metal. Fans of Castlevania, Final Fantasy, Guilty Gear, Blazblue, Devil May Cry, and Touhou Project. This is one of these bands we often spoke highly of. Although, I must admit. The past couple years, there has been a lot more fans of metal finding this band. I love that it's happening.

100% Jaw Dropped. Great band, but that violin player was so cool and fast and the word perfection comes to mind. Ear candy.

So many people forgot that Yngwie was classically trained on the violin and wrote this song based on violin play. We finally get to hear it how he wrote it.

The guitar whip at the end is a trick Yngwie always does so my guess is that's just a little added extra flair.

Remarkably appropriate considering that Yngwie was a violinist before he learned guitar. I don't think he reached that standard though.
@thomasjones4570 Жыл бұрын
He did. He wrote this song playing it on a violin to capture a classical sound.

Nice try on the pronunciation :D It's like "ing-vay". I'm not really a huge fan of Unlucky Morpheus (mostly because of Fuki's crazy intense vibrato), but I'm a huge Jill fan. She really gained my respect with these super fast, super smooth runs!

Yngwie's impact on Japan was especially great. Big part in the rise of shredders, and guitar virtuosos on KZbin particularily. Most covers are done by Japanese channels. And some of his greatest solo and Rising Force shows are in Japan. They adore him over there or at least they did. Not sure about his status today. They must appreciate him still at least, and he's a legend regardless. He will continue to be an inspiration to young guitarists and musicians over there.

What amazes me is that metal musicians and listeners are very ignorant about classical music . Jill is just an average violinist in the classical music world . They are amazed by Jill's violin play and Miyako's piano play . How ignorant they are !

I see that you specialize in making assumptions. There's an old adage about that. You'd be surprised at how many metal musicians, including myself, have roots firmly in classical and jazz.
