The only reason they didn’t hang 50 is because of their own mistakes/lack of execution. The Jets D were a non factor the entire game.

I knew I was happy watching the game. I saw so much seemingly new stuff that hasn't been seen this year. But I can't dissect it fast enough during game time. This made my day, if not my season! I love seeing all the motions, in game adjustments and scheming up changes during the game. I am giddy with excitement now seeing you break it down. If Erik is excited, I'm overwhelmed! Really impressed with Joe Brady. Who knew?

It’s been wild to see how many people kept parroting how Josh Allen doesn’t watch enough film and is dumb and can’t read coverages. Dude has a very high level understanding of all coverages and processes information quickly and moves through his progressions consistently and then makes throws no one else can. All it takes is for one or two talking heads to say some bs and a quote taken out of context and then a bad stretch for fans to start getting crazy. It’s been well established that Josh has fast processing and goes through progressions. This breakdown shows how the schemes affect this and how good ones allow for easier progression to the best option. I hope the Bills fans saying JA is a dumb jock recently see this breakdown.

Thanks for making this Erik you found some great plays to review. I just wanted to see what this offense would look like in someone else's hands. Dorsey's game plan was too complex for the players and too easy for the opposition to learn. When they showed Joe Brady in the booth it looked like a bunch of kids having fun, playing a video game and they were good at video games lol

This has been the most impressive film I've seen all year. Cook isn't a CMC, but I feel Joe is going to use him very well and make everyone's jobs a lot more easy. It's very clear watching the film it look like the offense was in sync very well compare to the last 5 games the offense just looked non-existent.

Seeing designed passes to the running backs along with motion that actually means something was so refreshing.
@seanguitarman559411 ай бұрын
I was hoping we would finally utilize our RB pass game, we have some of the finest pass-catching backs in the game, and it was borderline criminal seeing them being underutilized this season. Just get your skill players the ball in open space, and let the magic happen... It's just an added bonus that RB dumpoffs/bailouts/screens/etc, have the same effect as a successful run game, ie. they eventually force the safeties to cheat down and open up some deep options. I really hope they can get Cook more involved, I don't care if it's R or P, just get him in open field and uncork that lightning, takes a ton of pressure off the QB, ..... Go Bills!!!

As someone that doesn’t understand the X’s and O’s like this, I was really looking forward to this video and some analysis of how Brady did, and any changes he may have made. Really I think the willingness to ride the hot hand and adjust when things stagnate is what impressed me. Can't really complain when the guy is keeping Allen's job simple so he can be dynamic without so much thinking, but keeping enough wrinkles to make the defense overthink. I'm curious to see if Davis is going to get any love next week, but if not, that makes losing him to free agency a simpler decision

Thanks, I always enjoy this kind of deep dive analysis Erik. Do you have any insight about JB's time in Caroline (not successful) vs LSU (very successful)? I hope Bills found a hidden gem here and the lack of success JB had with Panthers was due more to the lack of playmakers there than his own talent. He now has a top-tier QB and receiver like he did at LSU.

I'd agree, RZ is definitely an area for improvement, but to be able to not force Josh to make defense-beating throws, and instead offer him RB checkdowns, etc, and letting the skill players carry the load, ...was a direction I was very content to see us moving in. I really hope we can get Cook unleashed, and then when Josh has a comfortable shot downfield, hell, he can and will do his thing. Loving it so far...
