I think Franklin and Chrirstobal are horrible but you're either an OU fan or clueless if you have Riley on the list but Sark isn't on there. It literally took Sark 3 different jobs and almost a decade of coaching to make the playoffs in the Big 12 and lose a playoff game. Something Riley did easily and he only had his first season (non covid) of missing double digit wins.

Who could of taken over a program in December..Worst power 5 team lost by average of 30 points..Deion beat every odds makers predictions in Pac12 which had one of best seasons ever..Top 5 in TV viewership..Selling out stadiums..Number 1 sports story.. I'd say that's a good first year for a dead program ..We going to say Saban is bad for not changing centers in middle of year and then a bad snap at end of game in Championship game may have cost a Natty? How about Lanning at a loaded school who have been good for 20 years..No adjustments lose to same team twice once as a favorite? How about Rhule not changing QB that was constantly fumbling..Cost his team..Etc etc

@@ctu5086 are you high? Mac Brown hasn’t won 10 games since 2009, is 14-12 in bowl games his career, and has never made the playoff. Yet he’s one the best ever? I want whatever you are on because you’re living on another planet.

@@gobucs7870 LOL! He lost half the recruits he got in the transfer portal. He signed 5 high school football recruits. You aren't building anything with so few high school football recruits. Deion is probably out of Colorado as soon as his sons are gone. He's a sideshow.

I agree with Bud on Shane Beamer. Unfortunately he’s sealed his fate in many ways, with the outrageously subpar hires for offense. I can give White some grace in that he’s shown the ability to make our defense click. Special teams, great. Sure, our team had loads of injuries but that’s on him to address and fix with the staff. Our team gets above average talent, so I don’t like using that parameter to judge. I went to SC and graduated in 2014, and saw our team handle UGA with ease, and with less talent on paper. Spurrier never had a top 10 recruiting class, I believe. He had the right staff developing the players, and yes we were blessed to have some stellar and legendary players. Our offense just isn’t there. None of us expected Beamer to be a play-calling genius. The expectation was to bring on staff to shore up his deficits - there are many. In politics, we call this process “balancing the ticket.” Everyone knows our schedule is a gauntlet and the reality is that we’re probably staring at another 6-6 season, at best. Loggains ain’t it. Most of us love Beamer, and will never not treat him as one of our own. However we’re surrounded by programs that are only getting better, while we continue to struggle. Bud made a comment about a year ago about some programs having limits on what they can achieve. I find with our program, there are limits on what can be done. This is basically Beamer’s “prove it” year. If they flunk, then he’ll be a lame duck next year, sitting on massive amounts of de-commitments and will be let go. Trying to keep some hope.

What is this? A copy of cable tv opinion sport shows or the View with whoever has the most absurd opinion. This guy says Mac Brown and Lincoln Riley are bad coaches? They are both as successful as any coaches for decades at the largest institutions, winning national and multiple repeat conference championships, & countless ten win seasons, list goes on. And he can't even speak clear enough for people to understand when he's all anxious about his opinion. What a bunch of crazy people. Probably (formerly) work for a cable tv company. Would be great on the View.

Lincoln Riley and Mac Brown had the two best QB’s in the country last year and were projected playoff teams, and both went 8-5 and barely made a bowl game. Sorry, but that’s bad coaching.

And neither of them are repeat national title winners; Lincoln Riley has never won a playoff game. Mac Brown won one, with Vince Young, and then underachieved without him. I mean, Mac Brown has never even made the playoff.

After all the hype and seeing what happened last year, it’s clear that Sanders is at the very bottom of this list! All mouth and nothing to back it up from a coaching standpoint! His kid isn’t first round worthy either! He’ll be a project qb taken in the late rounds and probably converted to defense or special teams!

Sam Pittman at Arkansas should win this by a LANDSLIDE. I remember how he had 1 good year with all of those super seniors that he inherited and since then proven why he’s always been a position coach (a really good one but still a position coach) all of his career. I’m a Vols fan and had to hear Arkansas fans at work here in West TN brag how they claimed they had the next Kirby Smart in 2020 😂
