What’s crazy about this game is how Notre Dame made several key errors that cost them. The fake punt, the missed field goal, and leaving Jeremiah Smith in single coverage. Had any one of these gone differently they maybe win.

As someone who doesnt pay attention to Ryan Day or osu this cfp really changed my view of Ryan Day just persona wise. I always imagined him as a loud maniac trying to fight a 90 year old man but the playoff game where Sawyer picked him up like a baby and his post game interviews ive changed my mind on him. If it helped him it would be different but i wish he would just be himself to the media cuz i feel like it makes it worse for him. Congrats Ohio State too btw

Ill enjoy it since im a buckeye fan lol. But you have to admit we probably all had flashbacks to georgia when that lead was shrinking. I just dont think ill ever be happy with day at the helm. Think about it. Day lost to michigan again. Being like a 20pt favorite, recruited better then michigan and had multiple seniors on the team. Then in the playoffs they play like the world is ending. Day may have got them to play like champs in the playoffs but where was the domination in the season? Struggled against nebraska, lost to oregon on a fluke and bad calls but still we didnt look good, our offense and defense never really seemed to clickl together in the regular season. Thats why those who wanted ryan day fired had every right. Because of how they played in the playoff is not how they played in the regular season.

That's the problem with Ryan Day, he only plays one-half of a game. For most of this year, it was the second half; he would diddle around for the first half, then turn it on in the second half, but during the playoffs, it was the first half, then diddle around in the second half.

As a Penn Stater, I am woefully disappointed that this is prob the 3rd or 4th postgame show I’ve listened to and the 1st that called out Marcus Freeman’s god awful decision to opt for a FG attempt down 16 with 7 minutes to go. My coach would’ve been buried by all media outlets and content creators for that 😂 Franklin really gets the short end of the stick.

@ 60 mil in fines, 5-20 less scholarships per class without a full cycle of 100% scholarship allotment until 2020, reputational damage….regardless of how long any coach has been at any program, who in CFB today has had to overcome anywhere near that….in a division with Michigan and Ohio State no less for much of that time lol. What really bothered me about the fake punt was that it was short yardage. If it was like 4th and 15 and maybe the right call was to punt I wouldn’t mind it but everyone knew you had to go. Additionally with it being 4th and 2 you should trust Riley Leonard to get 2.

If you didn’t go to a D1 university you are definitely a free agent fan. Very weird that they’re gate keeping fandom to insist only alumni are allowed to cheer for that particular school. If LeBron played at Michigan but continued to cheer for Ohio State that’s sus. Growing up in Ohio and skipping college or going to a smaller college or university is probably 25-50 percent of the fan base for tOSU (and similar for all major college football teams fan bases).
